Released today! A new and (in terms of FPSC) inventive weapon with 1000 frames(!) of animation. The stock weapons have around 250

Tell me more:
The weapon will bring a new level of realism to your game with animations like: fix jammed weapon, push button, throw grenade, change firemode, sprint etc etc...

All in all about 40 extended animation sequences, stock is about 10.

What will it cost?
$10 - €7 - £6, you can buy from here:

or from The Game Creator Store

$10 for just one weapon?
Nope, included are the following:

-M4A5 Standard
-M4A5 Wood (wooden stock)
-Fireaxe, sledgehammer, machete, frying pan, spanner and letter from the store (notice that these doesnt take advantage of the extended animations)
-A "integrated" CoD kit which cooperates with the gun_D2 texture to give shadereffects to the attachments, like reflection, illumination etc.
This CoD kit works with other weapons too.
-A set of 8 entities for a shooting range, exclusive for this pack
-The playerlegs (can be found free, but I included them anyways)

Included are also the sourcefiles for the M4A5 so you can easily modify it yourself, or rig your own weapon to the animations.

All weapons have pickups and VWEAPs.

Hey! You stole the CoD kit idea from someone else!Nope, attachments was in the plans before the extended animations was. And the extended animations was planned 4 months ago

Additional info:
-No crosshair is included, this is becuase the M4A5 is supplied with a laser which gives better accuracy
The laserdot moves around when you walk and appears where it should appear, where the gun is pointing.

Videos:
All animations (Notice, the whole animationrange has been set for the idle animation. 0 to 1000)

How to re-rigg the M4A5 with other hands

Notice about extended animations:I can't guarantee you will get all animations to work in unmodded or modded FPSC. But most should work with scripting and or modding of the engine.
I cant help with this.
But if you make a script that takes advantage of the extended animations, feel free to post it here and I will add it to the first post for others to use.

You can buy it from here:

(click button )

or from The Game Creator Store

PayLoadz delivers the pack as soon as your payment has been aproved automaticly. Accepts PayPal and creditcards.

This weapon has been in development for months, so its fun to actually have it ready for release!
Please ask if you got any questions

Scripts:
If you got a good script which uses the extened animations and want it added to this list please send me an e-mail

Good to see this thing up and running. Do I still get a free copy?

My only critique from the video would be to change the fire sound and the muzzleflash...

Which, you know, if you're looking for a muzzleflash, look no further than my free pack... [/plug]

The weapon is very well made, the animations are very good. My only suggestion is to improve the hands. The sleeves look to large for the hands, and the arms seems to be outstretch as if the user is keeping his arms straight. Just by setting the gun closer to the player would fix this. Just my two cents, though it is still a great buy, especially with all the stuff you're including.

Hope This Helps

First of all no one can steal a COD kit idea, unless they're actually stealing the models then it inst stealing. Weapon attachments are real and anyone can make them

Great model, I remember seeing this one on the 3D chat board. Your style is different.

Unfortunately this pack isn't for me, as all the projects I allready started are strongly based on hands from other packs.

Nonetheless is this in my opinion the first Weapon Pack that comes near the quality of MP5,6,9&10 and if I hadn't all the others allready I'd gladly buy it. Its a perfect starter kit for a horror, survivial or post-nuclear game and with all the extras its really worth the price.

The animation range is also well-done and allows a lot of creative scripting. Your presentation is very professional and I wish, everyone selling their creations would provide as much information.

I am sure sales will be good and I expect to see your weapons in a lot of future FPSC games

Thanks! I know that the sleeves may look big at some points, but When I tried to make them smaller they looked even more weird. So I kept them like this.
And its easy to set the gun closer, just a few changes in the gunspec.

Yes, the standard ironsightanimations for AirMod. Nothing fancy with them

I hope its different in a good way

I want to clarify that it was not my intention to include the attachments just to steal your idea.
They are a bonus when you buy the weapon.
The reason I included them is:

GJ I have sent you an e-mail

Quote: "Now this is some sweet modeling. Great Work"

Thank you!

Quote: "Unfortunately this pack isn't for me, as all the projects I allready started are strongly based on hands from other packs."

Maybe for a future game?

Thanks! That touched my hart

I do my best.

I hope so

Update:
I just saw that I have hidden the rearsight inside the weapon (for when I was testing attachments), I have updated the pack and those who have bought it will get an e-mail soon.

I Have also updated the first post with more information.

I forgot to say that the M4A5 has no crosshair, but why use a crosshair when you can have laser? The laserpoint moves with the weapon and goes where you point it.

Animations, model, textures... Nah

I use Milkshape for model and animation and UV Map tweaking, UV mapper Classic for UV Map and an old copy of Photoshop for textures.

I just bought this pack it is amazing
good work Cyborg.

Edit: I LOVE THE PACK. Only thing i see though is that it has flare gun ammo, but no flare gun. Is this on accident or just a scenery thing?

Hey Cyborg, thanks for making it free for me, but I don't think I really helped much to deserve it. So I will do what any man would do:

Help out more so I can still have it.

I made some Airmod settings for it; it acts much more realistically now.

Comes with better animation support for zooming, recoil, gunlag, run settings, Fenix Mod melee settings (press F to use it) and (my favorite) alt fire. If you have it equipped, just press the key it's assigned to and you will get a high-caliber semi-auto version.

And this is the script for alt fire ammo:

EDIT: Here's a link to a video I made to show the difference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rA2LMG_1_Wc

Use Fenix mod, PB, anything with airmod. Some stuff, though, like the commands, are all added animations that can't be used in-game. (unless called by a Ply's mod script)

How do you get the animations from the gun working in a unmodded FPSC? I really want these cause with the animations i can make a more realistic zombie game .(Bond1 FTW!)

Again, Good work on the weapons .

@Shadowtroid

Looks great! Will add them to the first post

@Bloody James

As Shadowtroid said you can call the animations using a mod (but since I dont know much about scripting I cant tell exact how to do. Maybe someone else could do?)

@Burneriza

By clever planning

For example:
Copy the M4A5 Standard folder from the guncore/games and name it M4A5 High Power or something, then change the select and putaway animations for the swap ammo, so when scrolling the mousewheel you change ammotype.

This would probably look bad if you got more than the M4A5 as a weapon.

You could also do the same for the "Crysismodding", if you have several M4A5s with different attachments then it will look like the player can choose what attachments to use. Like silencer and scope for sniper, silencer and red dot for assassin, bayonet and reflex sight for assault

The only thing that stops you are your imagination (and FPSC unmodded )

Hope it helped.

I will see if I can find some scripts which could work with the extended animations.

Added a script to the first post, this requires Project Blue (or any other mod which uses PlysMod)
Press Enter to display the push animation. I know that you can press Enter anywhere in the map and still play the animations. But its my first script (even tough I took a sneakpeek at this thread thread )

Hope its useable

Awesome! Will have to buy if I get money! And it doesen't matter if it makes the animation everywhere in the map, even if you are not near a switch. Im mean, if I want i can press something in the air, that doesen't excist. But that's just me.

I actually thougt FPSCR was serious too. Atleast half-serious.

Copy this into the gunspec:

Then put this script onto a dynamic light as the mainscript:

Should work.

Quote: "If I get 10$ somehow somehwere (how many that is in euros anyway), "

About €7.3
or £6,66

Quote: "Do the two alternate reload animation randomly get picked when reloading?"

I am sorry not, but that would be awesome. Maybe with a bit of scripting or an addition to a mod

[edit]Found something in the Fenix Mod:

Its doesnt play the animations randomly, but plays the longer animation when you are out of ammo, then have the other reload as standard reload.

Cool!

I'll see if I can get more functional scripts to work

Thanks for all the help on the weapon! i got it working! I have a question,
If possible could you make a pistol or sniper rigged with your hands cause i want more weapons with you hands, they are simply amazing.
***Boring information
***

Anyway back onto my question,
Make more weapons and i would gladly pay more than $10.00
If i may, i'd like to request weapons
Desert Eagle, Five Seven, or USP (Refer to Counter-Strike: Source for referance)
Awp.

That is all i want from you I know it is time consuming to make a weapon so i don't expect anything.

@Cyborg Art, have you considered using the player legs you made some time ago to make a "kick-in door" animation? It'd go along nicely with the standard door opening anim you have. It'd make for a nice update

I have planned a few weapons, but I have to many other projects: 2 or 3 DB Pro games, one of those will compete in Swedish Game Awards, and a few other things.

But I hope I will have a bigger and better pack ready within a few months.

And maybe some of your request will be included
