The classic Towers of Hanoi, but this time with 3D UFOs Click a piece of the tower to move it to a new post - of course you can only stack the pieces up in descending order (so the smallest always has to be on the top). The idea is to move all the pieces from the original stack to the other stack. See if you can manage it!

A great many people think they are thinking when they are really rearranging their prejudices.

Nicely presented but Towers of Hanoi is a bit old hat now and is a bit tedious when you get down to last few ufos and you have to repeat lots of moves. I did not have patience to complete game to see what happens - sorry.

Yeah I agree Spooky.

I remember doing a version with 5 rings when I was a kid and even that got repetitive once you knew the technique.

I tried this for a few rings but didn't have the stamina to do all of them.

A nice interpretation though.

Managed it in 273 moves.

Nice animation on the spaceships, but found the music gets annoying very quickly. Glad it can be turned off.

I think 3rd place is in order.

The spaceships rotated nicely and at different speeds. The lighting effect when they could land was a nice touch, too.

The towers of hanoi is indeed a puzzle, but makes for a tedius computer game. And when you know the "algorithm/heuristic" to play, much of the magic is gone. Maybe if it started out with less ships and gradually built up to the 5-post game fog mentioned, it would be better?

The problem with this game concept is once you know the method it's as easy as pie, however this one ha the difficulty of there being not a huge difference in size between the different ufo's, so it's a little deceptive. Nicely presented, the ufo's look good, but I feel this is too limited to really make a good puzzle game, no offence.

I don't suffer from insanity - I enjoy every minute of it!

i noticed there are many entires such as this one, where the layout is fixed, theres no alterations, so once you know how to solve it, you've completed it. for me puzzles should be in levels, where the levels are different each time.

once you complete this game, its "oh, i completed it- oh well may aswell delete it now i know what to do"

whereas the ideal puzzle game is "oh, i completed it, wahey, onto the next level!"
