Some of you might have complained about these forums because there are too many users who never finish their games.
Well here you go, a game created by me- All Hail Hitler.

The Story (taken from the readme file)

Welcome to the front line soldier. It's time to grab your gun and serve the united states once more. That's right, dirtbag- HITLER HAS RETURNED! The nazi scum scientists have developed some kind of a "resurrection" machine- and now they have resurrected Hitler like mad doctors made Frankenstein!
But not to worry, the U.S army will put an end to this menace once and for all. We, uh...well, we haven't got any men to spare, so...uhh...we'll be sending you out there! Hope you'll last more than ten seconds!

Well uh, anyway, your mission will be to infilterate the nazi military base, destroy the resurrection machine, steal the nazi war plan, and exfilterate the base completely undetected. Wait- what was that sound? Dang. It's the alarm! Run for your liiiveees!

So in short, you must stop hitler before the world is doomed.

The current version of the game includes 3 playable levels, each of them set in a diffrent location with variety of weapons and enemies.
The game is FREE to download and includes a LOT of custom music.

As you can see from the screenshots, the game doesn't use lightmapping. I'm sorry, but my main focus was to keep the framerate high, loading times quick and the gameplay fun.

I might increase the amount of levels in later versions, but i think the game is pretty long enough to keep you interested.

Sorry, i downloaded those a loong time ago. Will check it out. This is my first "official" game made with FPSC.
Oh, and as a reminder, i used ultraplex's fixed treepack in this one but the trees were still un-textured.

I did use some roads and stuff, especially a HUGE amount of music to spice it up, but i didn't really need anything more.
Btw, if people liked this one, i will upload two other games i made. One of them is called "Lands of The Damned" which is a horror game that does take the advantage of lightmapping and uses a lot of custom media. The other one is called "PsychoShooter", it's an earlier game that i made which generally just focuses on blasting things up

@Essal: I love crazy storylines. Mwahahaha!

My post is niether positive nor negitive. Do not look at it as either.

This is okay, for a first, but please learn a few rules.

First off, FPSC Default AI is bad, very bad. I am not saying make your own, but find some AI that works well. I think there may be one or 2 in there.

Second Off, the defaults for the weapons suck, just as the defaults for enemy health suck. But I don't know how powerful, or dis-powerful you made both the weapons and/or the enemys. I do know that it wasn't that good. You are seeking to ballance the weapons and enemys, in this type of game you don't want humanistic enemys, but tough enemys, however, that still means that at LEAST 15 automatic rounds kill someone.

Third Off, the players health should be your primary concern. Apart from the underpowered weapons, I found that losing health is very easy, no matter what you do. Unfortunatly, the little health you give back is hardly enough to quench my low health.

Fourth off, I do understand that this is your choice, but the shere number of weapons provided is insane. First you start me off with a mossburg, then I get a pistol which is better (moss=20 dammage, pistol 25+faster reload) then I get a tommy, then a shotgun, then a MP-40, then a rocket launcher. And somewhere in between... some gernades... Try to limit the plrs selection of weapons to a select few, or at least introduce them over time.

Fifth, Please play your game thoughly. You seriously lag because you use strait hallways. Doors do NOTHING to stop polyrendering, remeber that, to reduce lag put in cuts and jaggs every 8 tiles or so, More so if you are opening into a big room. Belive me, it is not fun to play in slow motion.


I would say pretty good with everything else. You have some high grade music going on there, and it loads at apropiate times, small clusters of enemys (unlike some people who will put 20 enemys in 1 spot) with... a working tank? I do regret that you don't have enough voice acting to propperly portray what happens in this game... The story is so unexplained as it goes on.
Next time remove weaponglow and ammoglow with weapon and ammo...


I know my post sounds harsh, but it does consit of well placed advice. A Colt should not be more powerful then a rifle, just as a tommy shouldn't take the whole clip to kill. And weapons should be slowly introduced, extends the gameplay feeling, and you get the weapons when you need them. I seek to help the ways I can. If those ways are a little harsh, take pride in the fact that it is me who is broken, not you.

@slow44: Thanks! The trees are from ultraplex's fixed treepack (i put the stuff i used in the credits/special thanks section of the readme).

@JKGS: The Commando is way more powerful than the tommy gun. Even though i didn't care for the weapon balance so much, i didn't want the player to be too good.

@Mosillivo

No problem. Thanks for playing the game, especially for your comments. Yes, I know that FPSC default AI is bad. However, I put those weapons to the game to balance the high amount of enemy health. I did not change many things from the defaults, so the rest is as FPSC puts it by default. Thanks for the tips- never trust defaults, i guess.

Yep, the music was pretty good, and i'm very glad that it was free also. The weapon number being insane- yes, you may be right again, but i love to have a big arsenal instead of using few trustworthy pistols and shotguns till the end. One reason was that there were only 3 levels, so i had to provide the player with something to fight with because of the huge amount of enemy health.

One weird thing about the health though- myself, i worried that the game was wayy too easy. Another reason was that FPSC has one damned health bug, which means that you get the same amount of starting health in start of the next level, so if you respawn, you would have only 10 health if you ended the last level with that amount of health. I also put this on the readme, so my advise would be to kill yourself and respawn if you have too low health before going to the next level.
I never died to enemies' shots while testing my game however.

The straight hallways- yes, i knew that it dramatically lowers your framerate. In the first level the game didn't lag because i didn't use them, but in the second one, sadly it did. In the third one i tried not to use them, but the game still lagged even though it was a high-wall zigzag maze, probadly because of the enemy count. While i was playing trough, my framerate was in the first level 20-33, in the second one 5-22, and in the third one 12-33.

I had no chance to record voice acting for the game either.

Mosillivo: Where, exactly, does one find better AI scripts? If I wrote them, they'd be worse than the FPSC defaults. This could be helpful to a lot of people - some better, readliy available AI. Now, I may have just not searched hard enough, and I'm not suggesting that you go make some now, but if you know of some, that'd be great.

I have to say your game was quite entertaining for a stock media FPS. I liked the music, the creative storyline, and the mixing of different weapons. Nice work. I must also say your game is better than a lot of stuff I see around here.
Now for the things I think you could have done a little better. I think you could of had a little more level variety, and also tryed to improve the framerate a little. But overall your game was a fun way to pass half an hour.

2 of them are done, just need to be uploaded + tested, and one of them is still under development. Unlike All Hail Hitler, I'm planning to use a big amount of custom media and lightning in them, and of course, music.
