Big Sound Pack
From Ambulance1.wav to Zombie Chase.mp3
Almost 2 GB of sounds!

Free to use. Music is mostly royalty free or community made.
I did not make anything in the pack, i merely uploaded it.
A lot of weapons sounds sound like they are from Counter Strike, or even Half Life. However, though they are made for Counter Strike, they are made by the CS community, and most come from http://www.fpsbanana.com
However, should you encounter any original content please contact me as soon as possible, so i can remove them.
There are two links, you need to unzip the first, then they both unpack.

Sample:

no problem, what good is a download if it doesn't work for everybody?

Quote: "I'll let you know what happens"

yeah let us now how it is, maybe also about what you think about the overall quality of the pack, since 2 GB might be a bit large, people might like to hear from another if it's worth downloading. i'm also considering uploading a small sample.

well so far for some reason its been 2 and a half hours on the download with high speed and only 68% first time only took 30 min not sure whats up with that average speed is 34kb pack 1 ,,,not that that is your fault the host is to blame for that.

I'm not gonna pay to be able to upload, i know it's annoying you have to wait for the second download, but you can keep the browser open, and for (2x) 1GB of sound it may be worth it.
I know another where i can upload huge files, problem is only paying customers can download it. Maybe i'll find another site, upload it there post the links and keep mega upload as an alternative.

the second "broke" down because of the kb/time download limit.
use a download accelerator so it doesn't get "broken down", meaning you don't have to completely download it
again, it's merely a "forced pause" then.
(google, there are a lot of good ones, i use an extension for FireFox:
https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/201)
i'm sorry but that's the way it is, either that or 20 seperate download links, i chose this method.
you're not whining, you want it that's why you post here
like i said, get a download accelerator, or, wait 24hrs to be sure, so it won't get interrupted. but if i was you i got an accelerator, since they also speed up your download speed (untill max/cap of course).
who knows i might find another site eventually, trust me, looked at a lot. most don't allow for 1GB or more, if they do, it often cost money or only downloadable for the uploader or paying customers.
it's nice you still trying, good attitude, it will be rewarded.

i have uTorrent and i am pleased with it. why don't you just install an accelerator? an accelerator works for all your next downloads, i don't want to install software that i use one time, because in my eyes uTorrent is still better, plus i got used to it. maybe i make the files into a torrent, but for now i have other things to do. i thought Pando was an upload site, i want to upload things and not have to worry about it anymore, not share files and wait until a few copies are spread, from wich most die pretty quick. if i decide to upload a torrent it will be to The Pirate Bay. it's ok to recommend a site, but i have no interest in more software (have tons right now, for FPSC allone i have at least 20-25 tools on my HD and most are installed). but if you can find an upload site wich allows 1 GB or more then i'm interested.

i only mentioned one, TPB, and it can be used for non-pirated uploads too, though a lot is. uTorrent is just a p2p program.
but dare you swear you never used any one of them? i payed for FPSC and the packs, i bought the upgrade from the TGC store (very handy, i suggested also selling MP's in the store). i also only download software if i can't offort it and really need it (COUGH! Photoshop!).
Quote: "has anyone got to hear this music?"

good question and i'll probably also make a sample soon.

don't see your point, thats the problem. so if you need and want something, you work for it not steal it, then admit it. And for "hand training after dark" I just go to your mom's website.

what is your problem? why you got so hostile? like i said your a hypocrite, since once in your life at least you downloaded something that had some rights to it, wether aware or not. laws are different in each country, in Holland we are allowed to download copyrighted music and movies for instance, but not upload it. it's all crooked. music is ok but software not by law here. they should get all those laws in one line. and all the 20-25 tools i use for FPSC are legal, Photoshop is the only pirated program i have right no on my PC. and i don't care really for your ethics, don't try to sound righteous.
nobody is perfect, if you ever smacked someone in the face by your theories you should go to jail, since that is a crime my friend.
now report yourself to the authorities. but seriously, lighten up, it's my soul. JUDGEs can judge, arguing on the internet is pointless, it won't solve anything. on a side note: there are more then 20 free tools (usable) for FPSC at least.

you justify it by some rambling speech about how you uphold one law and how we have lesser
Quote: "cultural thing"
's. yeah yeah where you live everone is so just.
crime stats? numbers please.
you never denied hitting someone in the face. things are relative. one law might be more important then others for many.
i think you've gone far enough with the insults:
Quote: "I just go to your mom's website."

let's leave it at this, you made some good points, i fell asleep.
this thread has derailed enough.

AmbideXter I want to thank you for putting your amazing 2gig soundfile on this forum. Unfortunately I have been trying to dl soundpack1 for over a week at every hour you can possibly think of. This MegaUpload has got to have the most horrible server service I have ever seen in my life. At least I now know who I will never use as far as uploading etc. I thank you once again and reallize you've done the best you can as far as providing a service to the forum. If you pay MegaUpload for their service I feel they owe you a serious refund because the quite simpy Suck.

Regards,

I'm registered but have not payed for it. if i would upload large files a lot then it might be worth it, but i don't.
But i'm not giving up. I understood many had troubles with it, but not almost every single one. I am now looking at:

- an alternative upload site
- a different form of upload (like a torrent for instance)
- see if communtiy sites are willing to host the file
(then link to them), wasn't www.fpsfree.com from explosys?

Thnx for trying though, you're a go-getter
For now just come back once in a while until you found upload info changed. Thnx

I Understand your point but definately don't look at Torrents. They shouldn't even be allowed on the net. I look down on piracy thats it end of story. I believe when you put hard work into software etc you should be rewarded for it monitarily of course. Unless as you have decided to upload your soundpacks for free. Kudos to you and all the other Modelers on here who do the same thing. Just stay away from the Torrents its bad news and the Feds are starting to crack down on them as well they should. Thats the way I see it

I get your point, but we are talking about uploading this content, for free. You are entitled to your opinion, and probably right. I might be a christian. Does it matter? I'm not here to convert you. It is an alternative for this file, downloads are fast and a lot of people use it.
Like i said, your point is clear but we are NOT debating software here or politics, or wether or not it's the p2p software to blame or the uploaders of illegal material, that's all off topic.
I understand but i will not keep asking again. You made your point about piracy as well as others, with a good alternative medium i will remove the torrent link.
Open a new thread if you like to debate it, i'm glad to express my opinion there. And like i said, i understand people want to post their opinion, it is the internet after all. But aside law there are also forum rules
.
People please stay on topic or i have no choice but to request a lock on this thread
.
And i don't want that.

I have send requests to other community sites to host the file there, i hope i can link it here, if one or more is willing to host it. I also found another upload site, but will upload there tonight, when i don't use my pc. I hope no one will get troubles using that one.

Some people need a good knock-around.
I dont see anything wrong with delivering a blow to those that deserve one.
As long as it isnt a deadly blow.

Anyways you stole photoshop, there is NO justification for that.

I am a certain age (mods i hope you dont mind me saying that, it seems like a fine age to say it but if its not take it out) i saved up for it and bought CS3.
I take it you are an adult and you CAN save up for it. If you really want it, of course.

Any MOD ? Can this thread please be locked? People refuse to stay on topic, and are not willing to open a new thread to discuss their subject wich has nothing to do with this post. I will still edit the content and try to make it as easy as possible for anyone to download.
