Don't see the point in this video, other than showing how easy it really is to create a beautiful game...wait, then I guess I do see the point.

How can we record our actions(outside test game of course) cause as far as I know record video works only in test game.(Please I don't want an answer that starts with a F and stops with an S)

Here's mine
Unfortunately it seems my computer was built like a man, unable to multitask... therefore the video is VERY jumpy, in fact actually watching the gameplay at the end looks like a series of screenshots. But you get the gist of it
Tell me what you think, the entire process took about 20 minutes and 15 of those were waiting for the uber-looking x10 graphics to load (processing the game).
Heres the link, youtube only sorry:

Tell me what you think!

it was alright, but the jumpyness made it kind of annoying

Keeping the level-building at a "slideshow-like" speed was good, but not for the gameplay part. You should have put that part in normal speed.

I saw part of it, but my computer is so slow.
I don't think i can make a game like that yet. I might have to set up what ill do, and practice the level. I can't play my FPSCX10 games yet, Im whaiting for vista and a Geforce 8600GTS card.

Maybe slightly off topic, idk, but I'm too curious. Is the load time in x10 for test game as painstakingly long as it took for x9? I don't want to have to click "build test game", go eat some lunch, take a short nap and then play my level. Not a fun afternoon, if you know what I mean.

its even longer, due the 2x bigger texture resolutions. And more advanced options that have to be compiled and loaded.

Believe me if I had X10, I'd be lined up with enough vids to crash Youtube. But it's going to be months still before my computer can even run X10. How long does this contest run?

I saw that after I posted, TBH. But maybe there will be an extension as the only entry is a cool level but is pretty much a slideshow (no offence to the creator, and I hope for your sake that that is just the video capture).

Yeahh, it is just the video capture.
I tried using the FPSC video capture tool, but the quality was even worse and also I couldn't record me actually making the level. Fraps refused to work so I used CamtasiaStudio and that was the best I got unfortunately

Well I'm glad your game isn't a slide-show, but you should have used the recorder in-game and then used fraps or whatever for the designing. Then you cold splice them together with windows movie maker. The designing was fine but I actually was wondering if your in-game was just a bunch of photos in a slide-show.
