Hi All,

I mimicked the functions of Dark GDK and made a simple lib for my Casino Video Poker game. It has the basic commands such as loading and pasting pictures etc. If you are making a simple 2D game and have a tight budget, please see if DXBreeze meets your needs:

FEATURING:
Load images and wave sounds from disk, memory, and resource.
XAudio2 plays compressed Microsoft ADPCM sound directly.

As far as I can tell, this is a direct knock off of DarkGDK commands. What is so advantageous to using this over DGDK?

My site, for various stuff that I make.

I am not trying to convince anybody to use my DXBreeze instead of Dark GDK. Dark GDK (I really like it very much) surely has much more horsepower than a simple lib.

I chose to use similar commands/functions so that I can convert my card game easily. Your comments are related to one question that was on my mind before I switched away from Dark GDK: Why should I reinvent the wheel?

My answer is: If I decide to sell my game one day, I don't have to pay $499. You should know that even if I want to sell a card game or something like that, maybe nobody will buy it, and I can not even get the $499 license fee back. That is the point.
