Here is a free whip made for Nickydude. It is not the best, has some texture stretching and the animation could use a little work but it does have different joints that help the whip look realistic when hitting. It is not a powerful attack but more of a quick whip. It also comes with a new hand texture. It has paler skin and is wearing a beige leather jacket. Uses MP6 hands. Do what you want with it and if you make a pickup for it, please post.

Just tried it and I'm impressed, that's exactly what I was looking for (the textures could do with a bit of tweaking) but besides that I love it! Sending you a pre-alpha demo shortly.

Thanks. The textures were good up until animating, when I rotated the vertecies, it made the texture stretch.

Oops... Lol, that was for my guitar melee weapon, I just forgot to change it. Do the same thing but put it in whip.

I am not quite sure, but I am open to suggestions. I want to work on stuff that hasn't been done before.

But if I made that a flak then it would explode. But I will still consider.

Why would it explode?

...because, by default, FPSC flak (grenade, glaive, etc.) is hardcoded to explode.

There is no pickup, you have to right click on the start marker and make it the starting weapon.

I don't seem to recall Bond1's arrows exploding? Or if they do, they don't do any explosion damage? And shouldn't there be a way to tell them to not explode?

...nope.

They aren't flak. The arrow being propelled is part of the weapon model. If you watch carefully, you'll see them disappear, as they get further away from the player.

Flak will continue to its full range, and explode. This is true for grenades, bazooka, and glaive...

Well, it would be near impossible to make the gears spin but if you don't mind that I will try. Right now I am working on scissors to stab with.

Well, I'm not a modeler, so forgive the questions as I try to understand.

Isn't it possible to make the stones similar to a static entity that is animated as a weapon? Isn't there some way to make them so they aren't flak?

Leon Kennedy, it has nothing to do with the model and everything to do with hard-coding in FPSC.

I'll assume you meant dynamic entity and not static because I am guessing you mean how you can throw a dynamic entity and it doesn't explode. It's just not possible the way FPSC is coded. It can be faked like with the arrows but it would lack ballistic trajectory which makes stuff like that cool in the first place.

There is currently only two options for weapons: Flak and Raycast.
Flak is used as Seth Black said. It uses projectiles with a modifiable set of ballistic characteristics. It sadly must explode every time because of how it was coded. Raycast is used for everything else. Ironically, in official FPSC, the weapons are among the least customizable things in the software, from a gamelpay perspective.
