The Story:

You play as, Jack Schrider, an investigatory who searches through abandoned hospitals and mental asylums. One night Jack is tirelessly leaving his 24 hour stay at Turner's Mental Asylum, but on his way out the floor gives way beneath him and he crashes through to an area of the asylum that he does not recognize. It's old and run down so he doesn't know what is crawling around down there. Being a new spot his only sense of direction is to go up.

Looks too plain, and a tad too dark. Try changing the light colors so they aren't solid colors or stock. For the yellow, make them closer to white. Make the white closer to a blue-ish gray. Add in a few junk entities and increase the area the lights cover, and you should be one your way!

I like it. I think the textures and graphics could use a little improvement though. they should be at least quick lightmapping, ful texture quality and shaders are optional.

How di you make the dynamic entities have shadows! The game was absolutely cool. It gave me some scares, but it could use a little touch. It was too... you know... what do you call it in english? Piperunning. Running into a little hallway all the time. But I liked the part where the wheelchair came out. It was kinda cool.

This looks pretty good, some need a few more entities, but I like the construction - not much detail, but very clean design.

Looks good so far! As said before, yes you could benefit from adding just a smidge more entities and what not around the level.

Also, slightly more grungy segments might help the dilapidated and eerie feeling to your environment

Check these out -

Sounds awesome! Here, Wolf has plenty more very generous segment contributions - not to flood or bombard you with segments, but always gotta have options so you can get the perfect look your going for in each room

Awesome work, loving that last screenshot, really creepy atmosphere

Little hint: if you right click your light sources, go down to the Effect field, click the small button and open up the effectbank, there you can find an effect called illuminationent.fx. Double click that to enable it, and your light sources will light up and "glow" a little better

Can't wait to see more.

Much better with the new segments! Great job! Like I said in my first post, the lights seem too solid. Try moving yellow ones to a orange-ish white-ish yellow color.

It's nice that you take constructive critisism, it's a good thing. I remember when I told a guy on YouTube that he had a good video but he should've gotten a better quality camera or atleast a screen grabber, he swore at me and said that if I had nothing nice to say I shouldn't bother saying it.

Sounds great, hey have you updated the Level 1 download to be your refurbished version? Just curious, would love to see how it looks in-game now

But by all means, only do that if you want and have the spare time, don't want to take away from your time creating the rest of the game, this looks very promising.

The level looks really really good man, very fun! A great, creepy, dark atmosphere that kept you on your toes - and to be honest, several points during the map scared the wits out of me!
I won't say anything for the people who haven't tried it out though, because you have some perfect fright moments in there. Love it.

Keep it up man

Downloading now - I'll edit this post in a minute with feedback

==EDIT==

Nice second level man! Kept the scare factor up which was really cool, and the map layout is great.
Some things to take into consideration might be adding a few more entities in the sewers, maybe pipes or trash type things or debris; whatever you'd think would fit nicely.
Also, the yellow street lights could be altered just a smidge, as to not be quite as yellow.
Also, one of the key things about horror games is ambient sound, I think you'd really benefit from adding more sounds; especially in the sewers where there aren't too many enemies to pre-occupy the players attention. You do excellent with the places where enemies pop up on you, with light changes and sounds combined with the appearance of the character to make you jump!
But you might also want to think about adding sounds in other locations, to just really bring out the other aspect of the creepy atmosphere and make the player feel even less at ease.

Can't wait to see more though man, great work so far
