Cosmic, you're an outstanding modeller and extremely generous person for doing the model packs that you've already given away and I'm sure all of the community agree that your generosity helps drive FPSC forward..

If you're still taking suggestions for a future pack then I have one: A cave system. I don't mean a rock looking texture on a segment but a fully sculpted cave system.

Here are a few screenshots (yes from FallOut 3, my favourite game at the moment.) just to get an idea.

Attached is a rar file containing more reference images if need be. I would also be willing to pay for something similar to this.

Keep up the great work my friend.

I think we could always do with more post apocalyptic models. (On the subject of FO3)

Cave system would be excellent, and stuff for the surface would be brilliant too. Fridges, destroyed furniture, telephone/electric poles, sandbags, billboards, all that kind of cool stuff.

Its a good day to do what has to be done by me and help my brother to defeat the enemies

That's a really cool idea Nickydude! And yes for sure, Cosmic's generosity and free media is definitely appreciated around here.

Do you think, if a few ideas pop into our minds for another cool pack, that we could air them here as well? If not, that's totally understandable; just wanted to ask first, instead of opening the door to everyone taking over your thread

Cheers

YES! Please do! That's the hardest part for me ( coming up with ideas for what to do next).

Nickydude: Thanks buddy, this will help me out alot. The cave pack is a great idea. O.K. consider it done. I'll get started on it as soon as I get my new 747 pack done ( about a week ).

DJMaster: Right! A city builgings pack. Another good idea. O.K. it's on the list.

This is great! keep 'em coming guys. I'd like to get around 10 really good ones.

Thanks Again.

I vote for the post-apocalytpic pack...because I'm also a Fallout 3 addict...

If I was ever given the opportunity to remove all the bad from the world, I wouldn't, because for there to be heroism, compassion and all that is good, there must also be all that is bad.

Awesome man! Thanks, because I had a little idea about a day ago; perhaps a pack that's simply tailored to creating a, well aforementioned as it was, some kind of a post-apocalyptic pack. Although, not as post-apocalyptic as Fallout 3 would have it, simply more of a, few days after an epidemic outbreak sort of deal.
The pack could include such things as abandoned military transport trucks, evacuation trucks, perhaps other deserted vehicles, outbreak road barriers, sandbag barrier/defenses, large fences and such; there could be a little assortment of bodies, blood overlays, evacuation signs, posters. There could be generator lights, epidemic treatment tents that the military surgeons had to abandon; which themselves could have operation tables, little trays, hanging curtains and such. In the sound department, you could have some ambient noises like screams, creepy city-scape sounds, perhaps military radio transmitions that can echo through the streets with jargled messages of evacuation and outbreak. And, possibly in the animated/scripting scene, perhaps a fence gate that has to be opened by flicking a switch - followed by the fence sliding open; it could even be made so that perhaps you have to find the switch, or find a generator that has it's own switch to kick the power back on, so that the fence can then be opened. If you wanted to go as far as characters for the pack, you might consider possibly making some sort of zombie or mutant type creature; obviously not original in name or thought, but it could be made to look and act quite unique from zombies we have! It could be animated to run or limp, hunched over and screaming or something; maybe even with a citizen version, along with a soldier and military surgeon version. Not Model Pack 22 quality of course, just something creepy and fun that could be thrown into an epidemic game
I know this was a lot of ideas, just throwing them out there though. Looking forward to you're next creation man

Cheers

Awesome idea Nickydude! I myself adore FO3 and would love a post-apocalyptic pack. I really love Braden's idea as well, reminds me a lot of L4D, I'm obsessed with that one too

I also have quite a few more ideas.

I know you're probably sick of Sci-Fi, but what if you expanded a bit, say... the city of the future You know something like this:

http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk201/freddypowell/the-monorail.jpg Buildings like the ones in this shot would be awesome!

An all out fantasy type deal like:
http://images1.fanpop.com/images/photos/2100000/Fable-2-screenshot-Bowerstone-outside-the-Cow-Corset-fable-2185953-1280-720.jpg

Very very dirty, seedy, grungy parts of a city maybe including subway tunnels , like:

http://xbox360media.ign.com/xbox360/image/article/659/659056/condemned-criminal-origins-20051017070110916_640w.jpg

A "Vegas" Pack, you know like casino stuff big flashy advertisements, and such (Vegas is busy, maybe pedestrian bridges to cross the busy main roads )

I know they're not the best but I hope they can help
If I think of more stuff I'll let you know

Not sure if any of these ideas are useful. Came up with these with my wife when we were chatting about this topic.

1. A mountain pack, with air tram where you can go from one mountain to another.

2. A dock pack with a cruise ship or a port with a barge/container ship.

3. A skytrain, subway, train, or bus terminal pack. Would go good with the airport pack.

As well as the cave stuff, although, if I may make a suggestion, I can't really think of any caves that are just round like that

After seeing those screens, I went to amazon last night and bought Fallout 3, I never played it before. I should have the game in a day or two, and I'll check it out. It looks crazy good! I'm sure to get a little inspiration as I play. I remember the caves from HL2, and I'm sure we can get a pack of segs and enities to to work for us in FPSC.

Third

Just because something like that could be of real value to everyone; definitely something as well that new FPSC users could really appreciate, having the open capabilities to try their hand at a horror game to build their experience and confidence! I think, however the only way a pack like this could really be of far better use to most people above the plethora of good monsters, creatures and zombies we have now, would be unique scripting and animating. Understandably this takes much more time and focus, but little mutant creatures that could actually crawl at you, or run at you with a hunched back and gimped stride would be a god-send! This all definitely sounds more like a pack that should be sold, I know - but I'd certainly be happy if you put a pack like that up for sale!

I just threw together a little sample showcase of ideas, from Garry's Mod as most of you will notice - now of course I'm not suggesting you produce same quality characters, nor would I ask that of anyone around here unless I was working out a deal with money or something; simply just trying to give you some animating ideas, were you to decide on making a little character pack. Thought these guys looked cool, that's all

Have a good day man!

Cheers

Life would be much easier if I had the source code.
