Hi all!

Had just created some stuff to share

False wall crushes when player reaches 300 points in front of it. Debris is created by pre-animated meshes falling around chaotically

enjoy

See in action here:

EDIT: I have to give credits to tornado for his stunning input into this model. Hope we'll do more nice work together soon.

Parallels can cross. Evidentially.

@3D Matrix,

Any chance that you might consider applying the same technique to a floor/ceiling segment?

Your animations look outstanding, and watching chunks fall out of the ceiling, and on the floor in front of the player, would make for a very complimentary effect to what you've created with the wall.

This is stunning. Looks as good as Bad Company except pre animated of course. Very generous to share this, I'll definately be using it.

Thanks and great work!

Hey I am having trouble setting these up. I set the wall entities to dynamic and give the main script the destroy wall script but nothing is happening. Could anyone please explain to me how to get these to work. This could come in handy for some very intense battles, and i would to use it for some of my levels.

So if anyone who has gotten this to work could please show me how. Thanx in advance

I believe it is activated by a trigger zone.

[quote I believe it is activated by a trigger zone.]

when i used the triggerzone the entities were not there until i passed the trigger zone, then they showedup. But still no destruction. DO i use the plrinzoneactivateused.fpi in the main of the trigger zone?

I took modified script from scifi "automatic door". This activates "destruction" animation and inits decal when player reaches 300 points distance to the wall object.

Really, I'm not sure you need to set up wall because all settings are included in fpe file coming with it. if you can post the screen of entity settings here i'll try to find out whatsup

If you want it to be trigger or zone activated, you need some DIY scripting as i'm not so good with those uh... triggerS

@3D Matrix- Everything is working great, i had another set of wall entities in my user folder right below where yours were installed. I was using them the whole time. Very nice contribution to the community, these will make for some great fight scenes.
