I've set up a download page that lets you download two Android Players, one for v1076 and one for v1082. Both can be installed on the same device because they have different package names.

There are also two test apps built in v1076 for showing what your device reports and displays for different orientations. One is built in Tier 1 and the other in Tier 2.

The page is here.

So, I was able to get a v1082 Android player created. Now I will try a template.

No sweat, I needed them for myself and sharing is easy.

I haven't done any real public tools, yet. I'm busy with my own project (and keeping clients happy).

What's interesting with the orientation tests is that some devices behave differently. The Nexus 7 reports the orientations exactly as I would expect. The Toshiba 7" Thrive reverses the two portraits and two landscapes. That isn't an issue except maybe for the camera, but I haven't played with camera commands, yet.

Works a treat here. Runs my first 3D test out okay, and runs faster on android than I expected. Thanks!

Not downloaded yet Cynthia......been v busy with studying and my 'real' job so have been kinda absent....

But will look into them and would like to say many thanks. I was quite pleased that once I had set up a tier one test for Andorra after following the video, I started looking at Lazarus as I really struggled without object orientation and linked lists....they make life so much more logical for me! Thanks to Erik it worked first time.....that's a first for me with AppGameKit!

How goes you AppGameKit project?

Constantly seeking!

I am close to finishing my level editor. The game itself is actually done. Including a leader board.

I hope to finish the editor today and then I can build the levels and then I can figure out how to publish it for iOS and Android.

I won't try to integrate 108 until it's officially released, at least.

I downloaded and used your 1076 player at your recommendation (thanks again).
Now I want to build an standalone APK, do I need some modified 1076 library files from you for this?

Have you set up your Android, Cygwin and Eclipse environment as per various guides and videos found in this forum and the AppGameKit help pages?

Yes, I've built APKs before.
I'm assuming you must have modified some Core files in the fixed 1076 player.

There isn't anything 'fixed' in the Player I posted, it is just built correctly.

As long as you have all the correct AppGameKit directories and files in your Android setup then it should work.

Also it assumes that you are using the same AppGameKit version files in your Android setup as in your AppGameKit Windows setup. Otherwise the byte code file built by the AppGameKit IDE will NOT be compatible with the Android apk.
