With the following :

Sprite 2 should be invisible (hidden). Unfortunately it appears in the display loop for some reason. Has anyone else had the same trouble ?
One other very important point : When the escape key is pressed and the program 'exits' - it doesn't (left running in the list of processes). However, with dbHideSprite removed, its okay when the program exits.
I'm using VS .Net 2003...

I've had a similar problem trying with dbHideSprite() & dbShowSprite().
dbHideAllSprites() & dbShowAllSprites() appear to work correctly tho.

Same problem here with dbShowSprite and dbHideSprite...
It's pretty bad because it's pretty useful to choose the ones you'd like visible!

I've been getting round it temporarily by using dbPasteImage and dbCopyBitmap to redraw the screen manually each time round my game loop.
