hey

this was orginally made for the screenshot competition, and my custom game, but after lots of trial and error with the weapon, i simply got bored of it, the attacking animations arent violent and "strategic" as i want them, so im giving this away, its still pretty nice though...

preview:

the idle animation is a bit jerky...but....meh

enjoy!

p.s) no VWEAP included, sorry, might make one later

-Jon

cheers buddy, glad you like

(as a side note, the texture is kinda muffed, was a quick UV map, but it does the job ingame, only it might be hard to retexture

Blitz Basic eh? ive never really had the time to have a good look around over there, isnt it like DB's arch nemesis , some of the stuff ive seen over there is pretty good though, much better than what iuve seen out of DBPro, too many puzzle games and alienware crap (no offense)

loads of people make that mistake, aswell as Jonathon, i swear that one day something is gonna go wrong on a database because they got me written down wrong, lol

as per usual, there are more than ten times the amount of views over replies, but thanks for the comments guys

FredP (or any moderator) do you wanna add this to the freebie list in the sticky? if you have already well, thanks

Got to remember Jon lots of kids come here that are not members and get what they can for free and then move on so you see a lot of views but no comments.
And then we have some members you wish would move on and not comment. hahaha
Got to say that room with the axe is really cool.
How did you do the logs?

i made a pickup entity for it, if anyone wants it...

keep in mind, if i do post the pickup, with Jony's permission of course, that it will start below the ground becuase it thinks it's a ghost and can go through stuff, and it thinks it's really big, so the little green circle is huge

EDIT: if people wants me to post this, then at least one person has to say thank you or good job or something like that...

cheers for the comments

i like that pickup, the texture looks uber from far away, would make a nice wall hanging, or something like that, i'll probably make the entity dont worry, and should be aligned correctly

im just busy with the next weapon for corepak vol. 2, i just have to unwrap the UV co-ordinates and skin it, even untextured it looks pretty darn cool, i wont give away what gun it is, nothing special, just "enhanced"

Quote: " if people wants me to post this, then at least one person has to say thank you or good job or something like that..."

life isnt always thankful, it tends to always kick you in the nuts and ruin the slightest glory you get, luckily i get the thanks, and they keep me going, but thank god im not too dependant on them

but i wont be the person to ruin your day, so good work and thanks for taking the time to do that

i don't need much, but at least knowing I'm almost appreciated and not a waste of a life keeps me going...

anyways, here the pickup untill Jon comes out with a properly aligned one...

I put my pickup in the user folder, but it shouldn't matter where you put.

no, weapons dont have .fpe files, instead, a "gunspec" .txt file, you must be thinking of the entity

Jony Boy is right, the actual guns don't hace fpe's an enity shaped like a gun that lets you posses the gun after picking it up has an FPE, but the actual gun doesn't
