Aaa come on... you can do some more... i made the deadline a long long away so people would have lots of time to perfect everything. How about adding some lightened areas to the cloke... like on the reference pic.

*cough* *cough* the lightened areas on the cloak would be done through lighting the scene...of which by the sounds of it can't be done in this contest *cough* *cough*

@Mucky Muck Ninja

You have made this person to the scale of a man. However it is actually a short Bird shaped thing. The chest is half the length of yours. The jewel is much larger, the arms are shorter, his waist is thinner. Some alterations are required to get it more Bird-Man.

I don't think so, Ooga's is an entry, although it looks like he is about to make some changes (as he has plenty of time to) and the other was a mistake

I'm loving that Kain there Good work, just for the voters could we have a polygon count of him, I'm sure a lot of them won't want to download the model just to find out what it is (As some will use polygon counts to help their judgements)

I edited the polycount onto the post. I threw on the model just so that people can see what it actually looks like if they want to look at it in a model viewer or something.

Tris I think, but I cant tell with 3D Max. Its a polygon model any way.

Fair enough, You should export it as Direct X, and then take a look at the poly count there. Its just that there is a polygon limit you see... and it would be unfair to the others if you exceeded it.

3000 tris
1500 quads.

Its a nice model though.

How can I tell if it is tris or quads? I dont own any dark basic software, besides FPSC.
