I had the need to rotate an object offset from center (e.g. a pinball flipper) I used the offset limb command and visually this worked . I set physics of the object to kinematic and the rotation also appears to work. However collisions do not



I have never been to happy with the Joints commands (they are springy) any other suggestions

Hi,
I think using the limb-commands in an active physX event doesn't work, because these are two different groups of commands (dbp and dark physX). Probably you have to use the joint commands from dark physX.
Just watch the "Advanced Machinery" example. It may help you.

I know how to use the joint commands I just find their performance unsatisfactory. I may try to shift the mesh off center and see if DP follows that

Offset it in your modeling program rather than with code, then it should work okay.
