Hey all,

I've recently been getting the urge to keep on making these things. I don't know why, but instead of polluting the board with more little threads, I decided to make a master thread where I can post all my tuts.

I'm also waiting to upload one that I've already made on modding weapons seeing as Lewis deleted his

Thanks,

Ben

For some reason my weapon is not appearing in fpsc, it is rigged to the v1.18 stock commando animations.

hurrm, could you provide a list of exactly what you, did or even better a video?

but first make sure that the .x is named to 'HUD' and is inside the correct directory.

Ok, I imported my FN FAL model into fragmotion and then into milkshape (as an ms3d file) aswell as the stock commando. I then scaled down my FAL to the correct size. I then rigged it to the correct joints to get this (I've mirrored it in fragmotion since)

I had also set the material indexes appropriately (I have to make a new material because the animated weapon had only 1 texture, both hands and weapon)

I then saved my model as an ms3d file and opened it up with fragmotion to then be exported as a .x file, I copied all of the content I'd used (exept for the ms3d files) into the gamecore/guns/custom/fn fal.

Thanks
