There is zlib plugin in program announcements, but there is no demos or any examples on how to use this plugin, can someone post here some simple demo on how to use this plugin?

you can download the plugin and see for yourself, there are three dlls but there is no keyword file or any demo source code just one very slow exe, thats why i have started this topic in the first place

I don't know about that plugin, but I think dbp has some undocumented commands to handle zipping files.

This is copied and pasted from FPSC which basically shows how it works

here is zlib plug-in "Zlib_DBPro.dll" when opened in notepad, this is the part with string table of commands



now my biggest problem is that i don't know how to write this funtions in dbpro, can someone explain me how to use these commands

now the problem is how to get file number of the file that is decompressed into the memory, does anyone know how to do this?

for everyone who want to use this plug-in here is the sample code
