We
knew you would ask that question of us
We had gone ahead prior to our first post to test on a multitude of scenarios. We have our FPS Creator in a folder on the C drive (not the default folder either) on both my laptop and my wife's desktop. I first ran S3D on the C drive for both our computers and it found our folder for FPSC on both machines. Everything worked.
I then put S3D on an external drive that both my wife and I share. I ran the config from there and it found the path to FPSC (path is the same for my laptop and my wife's desktop). We ran the application from both the laptop and her desktop (S3D was located on F drive) and it worked perfectly. Even took it one step further and moved S3D again to a network drive. Again, everything worked for us.
Hope that helps.
