Simply generates a new earth-like planet every 15 seconds in 1024x768 res.
It's not the best... .. rather blocky/pixelated looking but makes for a nice screen saver.

You'll definitely get a different planet every time, although they feel similar after a while. I need to include more cloud and land shapes and better texturing, etc. but it's a start. Feel free to screen capture the images for your own use.

ADDED: Chance to roll an icy planet, with or without ice oceans

Hey thanks! It was mostly inspired by Andy's tattoo.

This is pretty cool. I like the colours.

Two things I think would be nice
- fade the images in (it feels a little too abrupt at the moment. A nice fade in will make this a rather relaxing thing to watch.
- allow user to change the resolution or to view in widowed mode (it's quite badly stretched on my computer).

This is the sort of thing you can tinker with and add little bit here and there. It looks like a fun project.

Thanks 29! I'm hoping this will eventually become part of a larger space strategy game, but as usual I'm probably biting off more than I can chew.
Tinkering is fun!
