hey again
downloaded these great segments and have decided to make a game with 'em, its called ruin, the story is that you are a goverment agent who has been sent to an ancient ruin, satalites have detected underground life and has recorded scenes of military personel being transported to this area, most likely a terrorist orginisation known as KESTREL, you have to find out wat the hell is going on down there. Here are some screenies , have to use attach cos photobuckets up the creek.

Hmm, there doesn't seem to be a lot of decoration in the shots you took , mainly just showing the quality of the segments (which look pretty darn good)

The story sounds like it has potential, and my guess is that your still only in early development and wanted to get the word out about your game which is very respectable.

However, my advice would be to add some scenery and lighting to increase the flair of your game

Looking good, keep it up

Looks good! Reminds me of Tomb Raider. Desert Eagles anyone? I think that it needs more lightmapping, and in the fourth screenie the entities look out of place (the barrel and chair).

i have to agree, not much to say about the screens so far.
keep working on it and ad some variety to the rooms. maybe some different segments to break up all the same color walls and floors.

all done,i do mix the walls later in the level, that was all in the first room and the barrel and chair explain themselves in game. just gotta retexture guards but for some stupid reason i cant find the character textures, all thats under texture bank is scenery.

the textures are in the same folder as the charachter models are in the entitybank.

They are dds files, so you will have to convert them.

only change the _d2.dds and they'll work fine.

why are you using modelpack5 andmodelpack6 guns in the same game, you need to retexture the mp6 guns so they have gloves. but the segments are pretty nice. good luck
