Hi

I'm pretty much done building level one of froggy shoot out. There is ai and stuff to be done, but I will wait till I have the whole game art built. Anyway, you can download the first froggy shoot out level here:

Hey Keith. Thanks for the welcome back. I am back on froggy shoot out. I optimized the level in version 1.04. I am getting framerates around 30 throughout the level now and the loading screen is much faster. I also redid the lighting. Getting it into version 1.04 was a chore, but I live for problem solving. I also put the game in fps pack pro so It is all fancy and compressed. It's nice to be remembered

My framerate was horrible. It was almost unplayable.

Question: Is Fall of the Fireflies dead?

the framerate was bad at first, i was only getting about 10, until i killed the first enemy, then it jumped to about 22 and stayed there for the rest. good job on it so far, though to be honest the horses look a little silly

Wow, I am sorry to hear about the bad framerate. I am getting like 30 on it. I don't know why you guys are getting such bad framerate. Maybe it's because i have intel core 2 duo processor or something. What are your guys specs? I am curious why this is happening.

Froggy Shoot Out was before FoF. It's also best game. But I don't see long time never about FoF.

It's actually a nice game primarily aimed at a younger audience,hence the cartoon style horses,it reminds me a little of 'Lobey Dosser' a cartoon character that used to appear in my local newspaper with his loyal two legged horse and arch enemy Rank bajin'.
Below is a picture of a statue erected in honor of this great hero which sits across the road from my favourite bar.

Hey guys

I remember another custom game a while back called commander josh. Don't forget that one too. I can't get a link to the fireflies game anywhere. It seems it's not on filefront anymore. Does anyone know where I can get it?

I love that statue rolfy. It seems quite the style of the game. Yes, this style is aimed at younger audiences for sure, being my main audience is my little nephews. I just am a lover of silly styles too, so I am not insulted you think them silly.

I am very flattered by johnny's review. Thnaks Johnny. Thanks guys for trying it out, I really appreciate the feedback.

Your game looks pretty neat, but i couldnt try it out due to some programfailure. I hope you luck with the rest of your game.
