Which model editors work good for Physics Static Model Meshes?

I made one in max however it doesn't line up with it's collision mesh. I played with the axis, origin etc. Can't get it right. IT seems to collides with it once a good bit away from the visible mesh. Very frustrating.

I didn't move it either. I read there was a bug with that however I loaded it in and made it a static.

Try to not scale your models, as there is a bug with offset limbs and scaling.

Do you mean before it's exported?

I haven't scaled them after. I pretty much brought it in and made it a static object right away.

Well if you make it a static mesh then the collision should be identical to the objects faces, perhaps you are moving the objects position after you've set it up?

Or maybe the objects colliding with it aren't setup properly and leads you to think the static objects are messed up?

You have to make one mesh out of your object.
Otherwise it doesn`t work.
