do i need the phys x card as well as dark physics to use dark physics, ?

You do not need a PhysX card to use Dark Physics. However, the fluid functionality in Dark Physics relies on the PhysX card. You can also get increased performance when using the PhysX card.

If you use a program or game that uses Dark-Physics (=DP), you need NO DP and a PhysX-Card only, if the program uses fluids!

If you want to program a game or tool with DarkBasic-Pro and want to use the features that are provided by DP, you NEED to buy DP, but you DON'T need the hardware! You only need the hardware, if you want to run fluids in your game/tool/program!

As said above, the hardware is only important, if you use or program a software that uses fluids! The other features of DP are able to be run in Software-Mode!
