I sent a reply, Adam. I'm glad to be on your team.

Here's another promo screenshot of a WIP level. Soon, I'll add things below, and make a stairwell and stuff like that.

And I'll use this level as a demo for my game. But don't forget that the game is in the pre-early alpha stage, and the demo won't reflect final results. And I finally got an official name: Alpha Squad (AS). I'll also make an expansion pack, Alpha Squad Booster Pack (ASBP), which'll have 5 new levels, and a multiplayer map for AS, called "Bunker 106". It'll be like your normal military bunker.

OK, to make a minigun turret, here're the steps.

1. Get any object that can hold a gun (sandbags, a straight, rod-like stick, etc.) Or, if you have a custom tripod object, use that.
2. Get a minigun (or the M249 SAW from MP5), and place it on top of that gun-holder. Make the gun static 'fore doing this step!
3. Place a chair in front of your turret, or don't, for some realness.
4. And there you go, your own turret!

Hey Slayer, thanks for the medipack scripts. But if someone steals 'em from the game file, guess what? The whole thing won't work! They need FPSC for the scripts/characters/guns/everything else to work. That's a correct guess, right?

More screens of Alpha Squad soon.

Whew! I finally got level 1's idea done.

You start off with a sniper rifle, and you gotta pick off the squad of soldiers. After that, you venture into the building, and find a pistol to use against the enemies in here. Then you gotta meet up with Major Kessor. Yes, I've been playin' too much Brothers in Arms. Tell me what you think of the story.

With an itchy trigger finger,
AI

UPDATE: A new weapon has been added to Alpha Squad's arsenal: the Minigun! This weapon holds 250 rounds, and is pretty powerful. Also, there are dual weapons: Dual Glock 18C, dual MAC10's, and dual MP5K's. I have added more features for Alpha Squad. They are:
-15 levels
-Tactical gameplay; lean around corners, take cover anywhere, and fire in bursts
-Flanking techniques: more than 1 path to defeat your enemy
-And more!

I'll list the other stuff soon, so goodbye!(for now)

Sorry to leave you hanging in post #163, but I was in a hurry. Here's the OFFICIAL storyline for Alpha Squad.

11/23/2010
To: Cpl. George Thomas Baker, 109 Rowe Ave., Trestville, CO
From: US Paratroops Officer, Major Paul Wittaker
Subject: Possible War across North Border
Dear Corporal Baker,
Yesterday, we have recieved news that Canada is holding President Rodney hostage. They said that if they don't get a $1,000,000,000 (1 billion dollars) grant by January 2011, President Rodney will be killed. We cannot afford this casualty, and the whole country is so shocked that they won't even move an inch. Canada is invading the country TOMORROW, and they're planning on attacking Wisconsin and Michigan at around 12:15 p.m. I want you to alert the army, and warn the two states about this. If we don't attack, the US will fall. So get your gear, soldier!

That's the story. Technically, I wouldn't even think about harming Canada, or Canada harming us, but this is a game, and it'll never happen. So, sorry to any Canadians on here.

And, sorry for quadruple-posting.

I dislike this game even more now that it's against the Canadians jk.

Why Canada though? I'm come on, I'm Canadian, Canadians are Canadian. It's a lose lose situation. Although that doesn't make sense..... alright that doesn't make sense.

Story is alright.

Afghanistani's don't use US weaponry, nor do they use guns that were made in Germany. And I'm NOT getting another MP.

Besides, there's hardly an FPS where you fight Italians for the whole game. And I'm Italian, so I'm not complaining.

I have a story (OH, DARN IT!! DID IT AGAIN!) for the game.

In 2010, Germany declared war after a bomb from Belarus hit Berlin. Belarus is the first suspect, but the army said that the bomb was sent by Finland. But Finland says Portugal sent the bomb, so now there's a war in Europe. You play as Pvt. George Baker from the US military, and you were sent to Europe to straighten things out. After your heli was shot out of the sky from far below, you wake up in a maximum security prison. Hunted by the European government, you must get out of the continent, and report back to the US Army. European Crisis, day 1.

So, whaddya think? I promise, no more idea changes. No more.

No matter what happens, I'll always love FPSC.

Wait. Is the U.S. Army sent over to straighten things out? Or just this one guy? Because I doubt that they would:

a. Send one guy over.
b. Send a Private.

They would probably send a higher ranking officer if anything.

OK well I hope you are kidding AI. If you were serious then: AI your games look good and you are an asset to our game EOT but. Time to be mean You've got to get your @$$ (sorry mods hope that doesnt count as swearing) off the floor and stop feeling sorry for yourself! Keep talking like that and changing your game then people will not like you much you got to start seriously working on a game release an alpha and then people can start critiquing you game got it soilder!? Sorry for that but you can't expect people to help you off of a couple of promo screenys get a website movies more screenys a demo and you will most likely find you want to continue with the game. Sorry for the rant

But I can't download/buy FRAPS because my dad thinks I don't need it.

And, I was (sorta) serious, but I was just a little overheated at the though of my game never being made.

And great use of stock media.

Maybe you can put some stuff on the table.

Nothing to sharp. Or else the prisoners will start a riot.

And in case you're wondering what those barrels are for, those are water containers, just in case the water gets all dry.

New screen, outside the guards' lounge.
The door there is a static entity.

The game now takes place in the USA, and you're hunted down for the act of assassinating Vice President Oakley, and for numerous crimes of arson, speeding, stealing, and dealing drugs*. Let's just say you play as a bad guy.

*You MODS can't ban me for saying this, right? It's part of the game's plot.

I don't see a lack of you working on it. It's just too much of something. And that is you changing the story line. Just stick with one you've already made.

And don't bump this thread back to the top every five seconds.

Quote: "Does anyone like my new screen? It's in the prison's cafeteria, and I've updated it. More pics soon"

You don't need to post that.

Quote: "
EDIT: Why isn't anyone looking here?"

Some times we're just not interested. Or give us at least 2 days before you ask.

I don't want to be mean but you keep bumping down a lot of good games that have a straight story line and haven't been changed a billion times. Not saying your game isn't good. But it's really not a game right now. It's just a..... uhhh..... layout!? People will post when they want too.

Jenkins,
I have read this entire thread. I have to hand it to you you can really get on peoples nerves. You keep saying that AI hasn't finsished a game and is always flip flopping, he is I agree with you on that. How many games have you finished? Doesn't appear to be so solid for you. And to answer your come back no I haven't finished one either, Do I have any in work? Well that's for me to know. You can't be the pot calling the kettle black if ya know what I mean.

AI,
Well man, Not much to say except you may wnat to go back through your level(S) and look at realism. When was the last time you saw 3 50 GAL drums in a bathroom? A gun just chillin on the floor in a public area? A little tip for ya though try not to post any story line and just produce the game, that way people will not know if you change it around.

Cheers,
Dave

I've started 1 and finished one. Not changing the name, storyline or anything else for that matter. I started and finished it through. The thread had a lack of interest (Phoenix game) So I didn't bother posting it. And yes I know I can get on people's nerve. But people can get on my nerve VERY easily.

Thank you!? He's been told this before in his other threads. He's been told nicely like this and it didn't work. So I'm telling him angrily, and apparently that isn't working either. Except I'm more just saying don't change it at all. And if he does, don't tell us.

But RF, what does the kettle and pot thing mean?

Jenkins but then again you can make a suggestion and that's all all you can really do, isn't it? Kinda crazy that ya don't know that saying. I'm not going to explain it to you, if you don't get it now then you never will.

And Your completion ratio is 1 for 3 not 1 for 1.

Yeah but the dodge ball was just impossible. I never worked with flak and I never realized.... well just the rules of flak were new to me. And with the MP level, I can't build anything yet. Which is yet another reason why I never released Phoenix: Rise of the Furries, because I can't build it. But all my MP levels are finished. So I have somewhat completed 2/3. But I can't build anything unfortunately because of my computer. With the MP levels, everything came out white. And with Phoenix, when I build that segments are disappearing entities are floating, things aren't where they are supposed to be. But that is all because of the computer I have. GRRRRR this stupid piece of machinery makes me mad. It shouldn't even be called a computer. It should be called "Stupid thing that Jenkins wants to kick really hard."

Quote: "Jenkins but then again you can make a suggestion and that's all all you can really do, isn't it?"

No. I can release segments and finish a game I start (except for dodge ball).
Oh, and I can TRY to help people that get irritated with noobs by making a forum for noobs. Except that isn't working out too well right now. Still trying though. Never give up.... never surrender.

Well I guess I'll never learn the saying. Especially since I didn't know that some pots call kettle black.

This is AI's thread. I don't agree with him making new threads all the time, but really. Most of this thread is just people jabbering over him making new games (myself included).

AI: I think that you should shrink the bathroom down to one room, get rid of those barrels and the large outdoor garbage can, and maybe put in the trashcan from School Daze or the mirror from Nickydude's first FPSC pack. And thank you for the small bathroom, not one larger than my house
