Hi, I'm wishing to make like a marble run thingy for my little cousin. I've done most of it, but the problem is, when I make the object and add physics to it it doent work with the dynamic ball object I made. It just goes rigth through it. However when I use a static box, it works.

Here's my code:

Yes. Its crap isnt it. DP is full of holes at the moment. But apparently theres a new update - Almost guaranteed to bring even more crapness to the plugin.

General Reed. Don't be so negative. If you don't like TGC products, don't use them. There's plenty of other tools for you to use out there. Dark Physics while buggy at the moment, is in the process of being repaired, but in its current state, it is still a very capable tool.

Bozzy, have you checked your scene in the debugger? Can you confirm if everything is shown correctly in this tool? Perhaps also post a small example program that can be used so we can get a better understanding of the problem.

General Reed, your comments are not helpful to anyone. If you have problems with Dark Physics then explain why this is the case so something can be done about it.

Agent dink + Mike
What so you are saying that DP is not full of bugs (or at least some)? And that there is not a new update, because i dont remember saying anything else. In anycase why not be negative. I pay for something, and i expect it to work for christs sake!

Quote: " don't use them."

Well u know what. If thats the attitude given, I wont.

Quote: "If you don't like TGC products,"

I only just found out how buggy this was - WHEN I BOUGHT IT!

Lastly what really annoys me is that i try my BEST to get rid of bugs in my programs - I NEVER Release programs with any known bugs in them (Prob why i dont release many), Yet TGC a professional company, seem to be more interested in their profits than their (what could be excelent) technologies.

General Reed, the comments you make are incredibly vague. You say there are problems but fail to go into any detail. Unless you help us by being clear on the issues you have encountered then it is difficult for us to help you.

I have sent in multiple detailed bug reports (using the support system) and tgc replied saying these bugs will be fixed in the upcoming update for DP. I can only hope that this is true.

BTW, When is this update supposed to come out?

@ Mike: I'm sure he means some of the things named in the "old EULA-Thread". There were many things named, that did't work properly or needed improvements. (Example: Resetting a cloth-object isn't possible right now, once it's created it is there and can't be removed (I might be wrong, but this is what I have experienced.))

I'm sure you will give us some nice stuff to play around in the near future (maybe about May/June?)!

But, how is your 3ds object?
Are you sure that is fully closed?
