Hi, i'm new here, I've made a game with FPS and put it on my website
It features a dodgey jetpack and some decals that I made with flash

I have only had FPS two months so much of the stuff was made by reverse engineering (my segment editor crashes)

I have learnt a lot and I will be doing further work on this game but I want to ask some advise.

my turrets and skullbots loose the urge to shoot halfway through each level

I have tried to keep it optimised as I don't have a graphics card.

this is the link to my games gallery

Downloaded and tested it. It lagged every where and even worse when I got outside into space. Besides from that let down the puzzles where fun to do, but you never had enough ammo for the enemies.

I wanted it to be hard, I have completed it several times, but I suppose that is easy for me to say. You have to get the the guns from the NPCs. Level 2 has the explosive crates, if you chuck a crate down the corridor in front of the first turret, then stand on two crates and shoot it. A bit tough I agree. What about the lagging, does it run ok on a graphics card?

ok, I played it again and after an hour I was still on level 3 so I have made some changes

I went through every level and repainted all the floors. This put the tiles the same way round, I then went through and put loads of grenades.
I also renamed my ghostship directory and saved 40mb! (lots of junk I had been experimenting with) its now only 55mb
I have recompiled and played level 1 again.
I'm sure this is a great improvement in performance
even when in deep space!

It is very retro, in a good way. It reminded me of the old quake games, very good, keep up the good work!

Boom.
