I noticed that DBP supposedly supports padded strings, however, they don't seem to load padded. the following doesn't seem to work:
ftype As String * 3
.
.
.
open to read 1,"c:\test1.wbr"
read string 1, ftype
print ftype
The first few characters in the file read: WWBe WendigoSoft BSP Beta
after executing the line of code above, ftype should be: WWB
however, it stores WWBe. not only that but if i change the 3 to any number less, it still bears the same result.
Do the files open in BINARY, RANDOM, or what? Also, is the above a glitch?
