hI!! i JUST INSTALLED FPSC V1.05 and came to know that it needed a later direct X. For some reason i cant get the latest one so i want to revert back to V1, so i wanna know that if i reinstall in the same folder, will the extra entities and segments be overwrited... as i have collected them from all over the forums.

Help would be appreciated.

Hi, your best bet would be to simply backup your Entity, texture, mapbank etc , copy them over to another folder, and then reinstall and copy back

Instead of going to all that trouble why don't you just get the latest directx 9.0c February 07

If you can't download the web installer directly from Microsoft then you need to download the redistributable version for developers from this link

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=4B1F5D0C-5E44-4864-93CD-464EF59DA050

Otherwise it's available on the following links also

http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/OS-Enhancements/DirectX-9.0c-Redistributable.shtml
http://www.filehippo.com/download_directx/
