I am trying to set up a few cameras that follow my vehicle. The problem I am having is, if I press the 2 key, the camera changes but as soon as I let the key up the view goes back to the default camera angle. I need it to stay at the angle that I click (2 key) untill I click for it to go back to default (1 key). Any help??

Just hold the value in a variable:

if INKEY$ ( ) = "1" then camnum = 1
if INKEY$ ( ) = "2" then camnum = 2

if camnum = 1 then set camera to follow object position x ( 2 ), object position y ( 2 ), object position z ( 2 ),3, 4, 2, 1, 1
   
if camnum = 2 then set camera to follow object position x ( 2 ), object position y ( 2 ), object position z ( 2 ),3, 8, 2, 4, 1
