TGC is becoming like TV; it started with no ads, then they had a few, and now they're just a part of life. That is a sad day when TGC's Money Hunger is an accepted part of forum life."

They'll ban you for saying that....

All I can say is that the other game engines I do own don't have any ads of whatever kind on their forums (and anywhere else on their websites). Seems like they're making enough money from their engines. They don't even sell any of the other stuff (model packs, 3D applications, sounds and so on) TGC is selling, only their engines in 3 or more flavours and that seems to be enough to keep huge forums and websites running and still earn a decent living. No their software isn't much more expensive then TGC's game engines are.

Personally I think both of these google threads should be locked.
The ads have been here all along...they just got moved.
Then TGC even adjusted them to aid in the flow of the threads but that apparantly wasn't good enough.
Some people would find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow they would complain that it's not platinum.
The ads are here to stay...
There really is no sense in complaining about it.
There are no ads on my site but I had to pay for my site and that privilege.
It comes out of my pocket.
I could find an ad to place there.I choose not to.
The cost of covering these forums is higher than the cost of my site and I don't blame TGC one bit for placing ads on their forums.
I can come here anytime I want and interact with the rest of the TGC community and it doesn't cost me anything.
I'd like to keep it that way.
Just my two cents' worth.

Deep man, Deep.
