Here are the winners for this month's contest!

The Winners Are:

1st Place - Inspire
Enigma - removed upon request
Quote: "I liked the beginning of this level because of the gunfight sounds (i wasn't expecting that so it made me jump). The layout of entities was realistic and plausible and you had custom media too."

2nd Place - Father Tree
White Lightning 4
Quote: "The First thing that struck me about your level, Father Tree, was the very nice HUDs. Well done on those, they were really good. The entities placement was good in your level and there were a variety of gameplay options too."

3rd Place - Silent Thunder
Defender - removed

Quote: "Again, the first thing that struck me was the HUD in your level. The level was fast-paced but still a run, shoot, run game, so it lost points on the gameplay aspect. Its nice to see some objects with physics (like the destroyable crates) but almost every object had physics, so it made the frame rate dip quite a bit."

Everyone who entered is a winner. Hopefully more people will enter in next month's compo.

Hey, Silent Thunder? Can you please remove the download link and FPSPack my entry? I don't want my media stolen. Bloodeath said he would do this.

Congrats Father Tree and Silent Thunder, I really didn't think I would win.

Thanks, you can put it back up after it's FPSPacked (by Bloodeath or after I buy it or something, or I might just make my own packing software). Or Vishnu.

Inspire, I could never finish your level, it was to dark and to hard .

I don't see how it's too dark. I could see fine throughout the entire level. I can see how it's hard, I made it as hard as possible.

I thought your level was fun. Were all those guys thinking at the same time, or were only 3 of them active at a time? I'm talking about the last battle.

I didn't like all the dynamic entities though.

Was it made with either 1.05 RC1 or RC2?

it was in v103 I think.

also, your monitor could be at a brighter setting or somethin, I use a CRT monitor, which isn't nearly as bright as an LCD.

I want to ask a question, so I thought this thread will be the best place (no one can acuse me of bumping an old thread, because this is a sticky )

When is the next competition starting? And what will the subject be?

For all those who haven't seen, my game entry for this competition is available in the Gone - Scifi / Horror thread. It is modified a tiny bit, and uses DarkFact's Pheonix system (I'm registered). You need .NET Framework 2.0 to run it though.
