Would it have a considerable effect on speed if I was to use Dark Physics for Physics and NGC for Raycasting?

I think It could considering that you would have to have both systems setup for all objects/meshes.

P.S Dark Physics doesn’t allow ray casting from one object/pos to another object/pos - thus no good for realistic FPS bullets system. Dos anyone have any input to this subject.

P.S again...... Dark Physics is becoming rather disipounting!

Having tested It My self, and finding that just by implementing both systems in the game program resulted in over %50 drop from 203FPS to 94FPS, Hmmm that sucks (not that 94 is slow its the drop it self)

Self Conclusion: Yes it would make it considerably slower, so one must decide to dedicate to one system and that’s it.

Now the question remains will TGC or to be specific "Mike" Improve DP or just leave us in the dark like always. Now now... Mike if you read this don’t be scared to reply.... Just tell us the truth that’s all we ever wanted, instead of hiding in the corner!!!

Use sparky's plugin instead of NGC, it is considerably faster and works well with dark physics. Its also free

You can also rotate physics bodies with Sparky's. You cannot with NGC.

Sparky's is also considerably faster, not to mention you have the option of box collisions, which you do not with NGC.

Come see the WIP!

I use DP for my physics, but I am some what disappointed. All I need is something to do my bullet Ray casts.
