This is a demo for the first level of my game. I had a different thread however some people said the thread title was blah so I started a new one.
Conditions are as follows:
This contains my work, the work of others and items from Model Packs; therefor any redistribution of individual items or the sell of these items is not only illegal, but will severally piss me off. If I see my work around the forums, or for sell, this demo will be removed and I will persecute you to the fullest extent of my imagination.

I hope all of you will enjoy this game I have been working on it forever I am kind of a perfectionist, however I didn't put the videos in the download or any of the storyline stuff but I'll do a type up on it if you guys want me to after you've played it.

PS: Sorry for no credits I assure all of you they will be included in final version.

Skywalker,

You may have to give people more time to download and play it. It is a whopping 400MB, you know.

I just played very quickly and didn't get very far, but here are my initial thoughts.

The loading screens are great.

Game play was very choppy and whenever an enemy was in range, the player reacted too slowly or stopped while the enemy continued to shoot.

Although I don't know what the frame rate was, it was pretty bad.

I'll play some more and comment later....

press tab to see fps... I have my two beta demos out and you don't see a flood of comments do you? acually regarding the demo I have none. I'm not complaining just pointing out that I was acually thinking you are lucky to have 19 comments in 1 day.

Hmmm, what is your computers specs? For me it runs around 25-32fps constantly, with nothing else running however.

According to file front 14 people have downloaded the demo and one person has made remarks about it. The rest of you just want the stupid model pack come on if you downloaded it give some feed back.

Ya like I said I left the videos out of the download. Basically I won't post the story for legal reasons, as I believe these days someone may attempt to create a game similar to mine; however I will when I release the entire game. I am currently working on the third level it will contain at least 14 levels therefor it may be another three months or so.

I don't.

I did play your game though. Great graphics, nice enemy retexture, loved the light coming through the whole in the cieling. I love all the destroyed scenery. I do hate how enemies can shoot through walls sometimes. I couldn't finish the demo. And the ammo hud is crazy confusing.

Enemy retexture? Anyway, glad you liked it I wasn't sure on the ammo hud either I fiddle with it a bit. Would you be interested in beta testing the entire game, it seems you have followed the thread well and have been very helpful; if your interested just let me know.

My specs, 6 series vid card, 2.5 athlon

frame rates too bad too play, perhaps 15 at best down to total complete stops, played it for a few minutes and uninstalled it.

Not sure if its my computer but I find bad frames with most fpsc games, even stuff that doesn't have a lot on screen will have glitches and have these little stalls. testing in the editor, we get glitches where by the frames drop for no reason, hit x and we have over 100 fps, very odd how fpsc is set up. Perhaps its just my computer doesn't like the program.

yep its not so fast for today's specs, plays Q4 all right mind, wanted to play this one as it looked like one of the better fpsc, hope you put some more screens up or a you tube vid, it looks like a good game, I get better results with games compiled with 1.05, so that may help, also may be my graphics card acting up, ill test it on other non fpsc games, perhaps it on my part it doesn't get good frames, you know how tempermental computers can be, work one minute and not the next.

Quake lol! Anyway thanks, I am really trying to put some variation in I have a sewer level, streets level, and subway level currently all W.I.P. I wouldn't call myself a great modeler no. I feel I am ok at it though my animating skills have greatly improved and I am getting pretty good at texturing. Heres my latest gun-firing and partial reloading animations only, it will have hands shortly. Gun as is has 1,071 polys.

I only have three levels totally complete, but I have 3 that are all W.I.P. The game will have around sixteen levels hopefully.

I can animate pretty well; I just never can seem to get the mesh to stay looking normal once I export to Fragmotion for final touches, as I prefer it as opposed to Max for animation.
