I have just started playing around with Dark AI and it seems very impressive. However, all of my entities walk backwards.
I have tried rotating them 180 degrees and using Fix Object Pivot but that didn't work. I also tried AI Set Entity Angle Y MyEnt, AI Get Entity Angle Y( MyEnt ) + 180 but that didn't work either.

Any suggestions?

Rotate your model and resave it in your modeling program?

I have no modeling program. I don't do modeling. Some of us have it, some of us don't

I am assuming that it is something with DarkAI because it happens with all the models I use. I have tried models from DarkMATTER 1 & 2, FPSC and several free and paid for downloads but no matter what I use, they all walk backwards.

Well, that sounds odd. Maybe just download 3dCanvas or something free and see if rotating and resaving works.

The DarkMATTER ones walk backwards - I have had the same problem. In fact, I used the glitch to take some nice screen captures for my tutorial, it looked like the character was walking towards the camera, not away

At the beginning of the tutorial, I simply loaded the character like so and fixed the pivot:

And you say that fixed it?

I have tried Fix Object Pivot but got no result. Maybe I forgot to rotate it first but I don't think so. I will try it again when I get home from work.

Thanks

Yep, that worked fine. All the DarkMATTER 1 models are back-to-front, I had a similar issue with the Police Car and Beach Buggy a while ago.

find the limb of the main mesh or the root object of the skeleton if it is animated, then yrotate that limb 180 degrees. Works fine for me.

Fix object pivot, does work. I don't know what I did wrong the first time but it works perfectly.

Thanks
