Hello everyone! I have started this thread to help keep my project WIP orginized and help to do my part in keeping the forums orginized. I will use this thread to showcase all of my free models for the community as well as post WIP that is close to being released.

Here is my next free model(WIP), its a "Nasty Saw Blade" . Let me know what you think.

I still need to work on the texture, the blade tips need to have a color burn applied to make them look semi beveled, and the blood overlay needs to be reduced.

Maybe something more like this:

Nice sawblade, does go well with the corpse

The Models and Media board requires an ingame screen, unless the one with the corpse is ingame (which it doesn't look like) I would post one now if i were you

It is ingame. You can see segment in the background.

@Tyrano man

Thanks for the forum rule tip, the corpse screen is FPS in game. I have a tendency to post milk shape on one side and FPS on the other.

Thanks for the complements , the model is ready and yes you can use it commercially. The only restriction is you can't redistribute without my permision.Im having trouble with the exporting the animation sequences.

I connected 3 blades to a rusty bar. There are 40 frames of animation in which every 5 keyframes the blades and bar rotate at 45 degrees on the x axis. The animation uses one Joint, all 4 parts were made into one group, and all the vertexs were connected to one joint.

An amiation script:

Is there an option im missing in Milkshape to export the animation sequence? Can anyone help me out? Send me an email and I will do some custom work for you: jaythetek8285@hotmail.com .

Yh in when you export from milkshape use the direct x (JT) and on the right hand side theres a few boxes and stuff to do with animation.

well in your FPE you only have the anim0. In your script your telling it to animate 1. it should say animate=0. Also there is no state 1 that you are refering to. and Plrdistwithin is a question not a command.

What do you want your script to do? Play an anim when your char gets close?

If you tell me what you want i'll help

@Tryano Man

I basically just want it to spin when within a certian distance from the player to save on resources. I will also use the hide script with a triger zone when outside of player range. Ive posted all the WIP files for you to anlaize, let me know what you can come up with; btw the scale is not set yet, the bar will extend the length of one FPS segment and the blades will be slightly bigger and the spacing will be adjusted. Thanks for your help, ill add your name in the FPE credits.

Well iv'e decided to take a break from trying to figure out how to import/export animation sequences into FPS. Its more then likely some simple error on my end and can easily be fixed, I will look into it some other time. In the meantime I've put together a nice wall and floor texture to be used as segments that give a grungy dirty bathroom look without too much overkill.

Attached are the two textures in TGA format 512x512.
As with any of my other media, do not re-distribute without my permision.

Speaking of Dirty, here is a "Filthy Shelf".

It looks great with a peeling paint segment similar to one off Resident Evil 4 (the ones in the villages). It gives a "Something Bad Happend Here" or "Neglected" feel to an enviroment. I was listening to Soundgarden when I was painting it and got a little crazy with the grundge brush but the end result looks sinister , just the way I like it. Enjoy and as with any of my other media, do not re-distribute without my permision.

Does the animation actually export? Because you need it to actually export from your modeling prog first. If the actual model has animation, then i'll make a script for it

Im satisfied with this next model, its is a "Dirty Stall". I used the same texturing color scheme and theme from my "Dirty Bathroom" textures, they really work hand in hand .

The texture for the stall looks a bit tacky with other room textures but if you have the Stall.X file you can rip it and make your own textures that suit your enviroment. Enjoy, be creative and as with any of my other media, do not re-distribute without my permision.

@Butterfingers / @Doomray / @FredP / @Game station

In your opinion, what is the optimal Frames Per Second export setting to use in Fragmotion to attchive a smooth looping animation sequence for FPS Creator, more specificaly what is the ratio between the engine and the export settings? I hope that made sence .

Good to hear you got it working

I think the general FPS export you use is 25. As this is what max users use when they export charachters (rolfy said so) So i guess it would be the same FPS

I was looking through some older threads and found a request for a dart board to go into a gameroom. I like the way this one looks with a high resolution tga. I've tweeked the script to slap onto the wall at a good hieght too. If you change the entity to Dynamic rather then Static, it will spark if you shoot it rather then leave bullet holes.

Hopefully the person that requested the dart board finds this thread . Enjoy and as with any of my other media, do not re-distribute without my permision.

Here is my first attempt at modeling a pistol for FPSC, It is coming along nicely so far. The hardware such as the trigger and the discharge have not been added yet but for the most part the handle and chamber gemotry is complete.

Can anyone tell me how to point my signature in the forum options to an external image; If i use the image tag I can only display one image per post. Thanks your your help!

A few more models close to completion. The geometry is where I need it but the textures are still .

The dart board case will have a cherry wood finish with accented edges; there will also be a playing score card attached to each of the doors. The vending machine will have some generic decals applied to base; I’m thinking of adding an FPS read all about it newspaper as the display piece .

Like all your work, it looks nice.

But it can't stand up to the might of The Techno Kumkwat Avenger!

Yes i know Kumkwat is a misspelling...

a "techno" is not an item, it is describing the Kumkwat

There have been tons of these contributed to the community already, but you can never have too many . Here is a pack of 4 sign textures in .TGA format 512x512, 2 of which have variations.

I created one sign for FPSC and set it up to stick to wall at x=45 as the hieght which is in the .RAR file. You can just change the code to point to a diffrent .tga; too lazy today to make them all seperate .

Enjoy and as with any of my other media, do not re-distribute without my permision.

Here is an ingame screeny from one of my favorite signs:

The scene is using low ambient lighting which realy brings out the grundge produced in the sign textures.

There have been tons of these contributed to the community already, but you can never have too many . Here is a pack of 2 explosive box entitys with textures in .TGA format 512x512.

I've created simple crates and added a script to make them spark with bullet collisions, explode and project debriss. These are both created as seperate entitys .

Enjoy and as with any of my other media, do not re-distribute without my permision.
