How would i go about doing this - uno pressing E and carrying the object like on hl2? I did it in newton once but i cant rmemeber how

Phy set rigid body position
Phy set rigid body rotation

And set the paramaters to position it and rotate it to a limb where your player's hands would be.

Should be really simple, same concept as carrying an FPS gun, just with different position/rotation commands.

Thanks... but i tried that, but i need it so it wont go through static objects and react realisticly with other dynamics....so is there a way of just doing it using forces thats how i did it in newton.

You might try using joints to attach the objects. That would allow a degree of freedom for instance something dangling from a belt would be allowed to swing

I did it by simply applying forces calculated by the distance from the object to the target antigravity point.

I know that my code is a bit of a mess, if you donĀ“t get something tell me. The physX gun is just a part of the whole app.

Alfred - thats really great! However i have infact solved the problem myself in the same way - exept one problem. Whenever i move the camera the object gets "Left behind" so i have to manualy increase the offset each time a direction key is pressed. I will use your code to find out how to fix this.
