hallo OnQue int...no more helper a needed...just do:

position object helper,x#,-49+y#-gravedad#,z#
position object bike,x#,-49+by#-gravedad_2#+up#,z#-10
point object bike, x#,y#-49,z#

can you see?....all depends on the value -49 of the gravity

just change this value to differents values...you will see that the bike goes down and down....no gap at all...

good luck..

ok i got it fixed positioned the limb to front of bike does perfect no gap as well. now i see that u have ramp limits is that to keep it on the ramp at all times and if so i want it to be able to fall off. If u remember the ramp the end of it is a ramp that i want the bike to jump and come back down would that be physics and gravity

hallo.... of course !! you will fall down if you delete this piece of code(limits) .

In that case you will have to put a hidden objet at the end of the ramp and write a condition such as:

if object collision(bike,0)>0 then bla bla bla...yuo can decide

you have to prepare the animation that you want the bike do.

you could animate it manually with dark basic code.

i`ll prepare a example for you... Greetings

Hallo...I know what you mean... i can put a helper in order to force the bike pointing it all time, but in such case we have to put more code for that...because right now, what the bike do is just stay on floor with gravity and the all moving is positioning the bike in the new values while we press upkey....if you want i could try to update the bike rolling...

here we go !!

if i could get both ramps in there and get it to go down and up the way it should i could study how u did it and figure it out. would you mind putting both in there and get it to work and then i will take it from here. still ask questions of course but wont ask for u to do it for me cause then i can see how you make the physics for two diferent ramps

thanks

yea if u dont mind if you can prepare a code that will allow it to come down the first and jump to the other so i can see how it is done then i can change some things to see what it cahnges then change it back that is the best way i learn then try to use it somewhere else and i write it several times so i know it without looking it up

hallo OnQue int ....I,v been doing diferents pieces of code to get somethin like you need...but as you know here have we no physics at all...and now i send you two test . Of course the animation of the bike going down the ramp could be more realistic if it pitch up and down....and you can see that in one of the tests but the problem comes once we turn the bike...as we need to update position of helpers any time they move...any way i don`t give up

its definatley getting closer i see what you mean when u turn the bike it turns in the air. the helper box that is between the 2 ramps do you need that i thought collision and physics jump the bike but i really dont know alot about that part of it but it wont be long for sure i am trying my best to figure out the other half of coding with your help that i have blessed to have i will get it then i will be fine

Well ...the hidden object for the ramp ist not necesary in some cases, but it is just a helper to prevent not to fall down...we can do that by many ways...even with way points...

example:

Hallo again....

for example, if we want to make 50 boxes from 1 to 50 and we do:

make object box 1,20,20,20
make object box 2,20,20,20
make object box 3,20,20,20
make object box 4,20,20,20...... THIS IS A HARD WORK...

so we could do:
for i =1 to 50
make object box i,20,20,20
next i

Now with just this three lines we made 50 object box ...understand?

oh ok i get it now. what is the best way make the bike rotate the angles it need to on the way down and up the ramp.
I also scaled everything up to the size it needed to be and positioned
the camera and also fixed the gravity on how far the bike will fall and the camera range now i need to get the gravity in there and everything else i need thanks DAD haha

you could decide if you put helper objects in order to force the bike to point the correct angle you need ,like the example i sent you with boxes...if not the first example i sent to you...but in that case you have to go straight ahead all along the ramp ...we are trying to do that with not physics...haha i never thought it was goint to be a nightmare!!

what i sent you i tried first even downloaded it to try but now i downloaded it to see it again to work on the scenery now im not showing no codes in db just blank screen but the exe loaded it up without textures do you know why

hallo...well, you have to put the dba code and not only the Dbpro one. I,v seen your exe any way, but unless you add some helper to scenery you will fall down every time you loanch down

we have to prepare what we want the game do, if not we can´t get any thing good for other people.

Now the bike apears close to the camera and some times it looks like we are gliding, and it was the reason I put the camera not so close...but it can be done like you have now but in that case the bike must be closer to the ramp...

tell me if you want the bike do something else, and litle by litle we can try...

if you have the code that is great because i lost it somehow i had a idea that will probably make it easy on going down the first ramp instead of the steep drop here is a add to the ramp tell me if this works better

Hallo...if you lost the code, you can download it again from here.
I saw your last ramp model, but it doesn´t matter the model you use as we have no physics in this example.

If you just want tu simulate the bike going down the ramp with a real animation, it could be just that !! an animation of the bike object, made in a external editor with its all path.

cheers.
