Hey peeps
This thread went cold ages ago so Im gonna get it fired up again and inform you that I have been working on the pack, but I have had several setbacks along the road which have slowed me down considerably.

Anyway here is my latest model, a cryogenic container or some kind of weird tube. Use your imagination!

Currently it is not textured but I am working on that.

Voila! Here is the cryo tube with the texture applied, including illumination mapping. This is a 3ds max render. I shall have an in-game up 2moro.

Enjoy.

Thanks. Technically speaking this is actually my worst model in the pack so far. The UV mapping was awful, any experienced 3d artist will tell me that, but it was a difficult model to texture because of all the circular shapes and indented sections, but WHO CARES!

Oh BTW ppl I finally solved the UV mapping bug. Turns out it was never a bug, just an unknown mistake on my part

In-game screenie comin shortly!

In-game screen of the cryotube. (Illumination mapped too)

Im having trouble with the hand scanner though. I tried making it as a switch. I place it on the wall in the editor but in-game it ends up on the floor halfway across the room?

Oh well I'll have to see what I can do.

Nice tube.

Have you made it dynamic/immobile? That's the only way to make switches work properly.

hmm. It is dynamic but Im not sure about immobile. I must have missed that it the FPI script. Thanks I'll take a look.

And thanks for the comment

EDIT:I have got it to stick to the wall now and it works fine except I cannot get the alternate texture to show, it just stays as the original texture when you activate it.

Screeny very soon!

Just hold on a little while longer. Im just ironing out a few glitches.

Please be aware that the pack only contains about 12 items.
Cos I am now releasing it for free I am not making any more models for it, instead I shall move onto a new project.

It should be released in the next couple of days.
