Hi Wolf!

Pretty impresive and usefull plugin you make!

The Problem:

I'm trying to use Enhanced Animation to bring some new functionality to FPSC Animation V&F and found that when I use EnAn_objSaveNoAnims to save the object whitout animation data in it.

I notice that it the command don't wipe compleately the animation data. When i load the the saved dbo file again, i notice that the object had the same number of frames like the original.

Playing the object in a loop i notice that it moves in the same way as is if have animation but whitout any limb movement.

Is this the way the plugin works? or I'm missing something.

Thanks:

Waldemar Medina

Waldemar,
I'll have a look at it to make sure I am also removing the position portion of the animation. In any case, a couple of frames of animation are left in the file. Why? The initial frame of animation helps setup the object in DBpro. If I were to COMPLETELY remove the animation data, then resave the object, the object would be setup a bit different. Then, when the .anim files are applied to the object, it would behave differently.
You can quickly check to see how many animation frames are stored in your object with this command:
EnAn_ObjTotalAnimFrames( ObjID )

If there are only 1 or 2 frames, then then everything is as expected. You object will still load MUCH faster than having hundreds of animation frames

Thanks for your compliments on the plugin! I am glad you are finding it useful!

-Ron

Wolf, Thanks for the reply!

I check the total frames of the object using EnAn_ObjTotalAnimFrames and copair them to the toal of frames that DBP Total Object Frames guive me and still are the same.

So for me the problem still exist!

I run the project 04_MultipleModels.dbpro that you include and open the dbo file created, and still the same.

Here's a compressed rar whit a video of what i'm doing! that shows the results and what i'm talking about!

Thanks Again
Waldemar Medina!
