I posted this in the FPS Creator X10 Work in progress shots April 2007, It didnt get an answer from those in the know, so Ill post it on its own thread as I belive its very important and warrants it.

Does fpsc dx10 have any kind of working bump or parallax or displacement mapping for segment textures, I havnt seen this in screenshots yet.

if u ask me i think the standard texture looks better or it may be just a bad example!

its a bad example, the flat one looks like it has depth, but you know what I mean any how.

it can also be called offset mapping, and this is available in DX9 at the moment, DBP now, not FPSC. So I doubt we have it.

I have seen no depth mapping to textures in fpsc DX9, it doesn't work on segments correctly, I don't use any bump type effects in fpsc at all as they are messed up.
yes lots of games in dx9 can do it, whats the problem with fpsc DX9, and will we see it in DX10, if it will not work in DX10 that is very very poor. I wont touch DX10 if it cannot manage this.
