Yes! Sorry but I couldn't think of a more inspiring name. Anyway, it does what it says. Objects whose textures are oriented to the screen. This is the technique that The Matrix Reloaded uses, but this is slightly clearer and more colourful . I had loads of space left over so I stuck another ring of spheres in there, but that seems to have slowed it down somewhat. Here's the code:

EDIT: oops, it seems the comparison operators cut off my code again!

The old 20-line rules apply, and it's media free so you can copy 'n' paste. Enjoy, and please comment!

Here's a cut down version for those of you with slower computers, but I don't know how fast it'll run. There's only one ring of spheres as opposed to three.

If you don't have DBPro, you can download both versions at:

http://www.mikeyben.org:5432/darkb/statictexturein20lines.zip

and

http://www.mikeyben.org:5432/darkb/statictexturein20lineslow.zip

They're both 1.2Mb.

Very nice Darthster. Very hectic code, but a very nice program. It ran a little choppy on my computer (the high end code) and these are my specs:

1 ghz
Pentium 3
nVidia GeForce 2

Boy I remember the days when that computer was really, really good

Excellent code!

Very good mate. Its a much better display of the effect than the matrix one. Good coding. Are you hoping to use it for anything?
