Ok I've read through a few posts on this board. People requesting particular ball style controls. Obviously trying to mimic those in games such as Marble Blast.

So i decided to give up my code i made ages ago. Feel free to use it.

Comments and Alterations welcome

[EDIT] oops uploaded the wrong file. Fixed now [/EDIT]

I couldn't roll up any of the slopes, they were too steep for my ball. I then realized I could roll up the spiral but at the top I couldn't get up so other than that it's pretty cool.

Yeh that level wasn't well planned. The slopes are way too steep, I agree. Glad you like it.

I one day plan to do something with it when i have time. Would like to see what other people make out of it.

Hey, just one question about your code BigAdd...

What are the three extra XGlobal,YGlobal,ZGlobal paremeters in the "phy add rigid body force ID,XLocal,YLocal,ZLocal,XGlobal,YGlobal,ZGlobal,Mode" of the code:

for in this program...I don't under stand what the use is for. I see you used rig_bx#,rig_by#,rig_bz# variables to get the position of the object and then filled in the GlobalXYZ parameters with it. I just don't understand why.

Thanks,

Mickey III

This is used because I needed to offset the force applied on the ball in the Y direction, in order for the ball to rotate:

rig_by#+ForceHeight#

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't know people had posted!

Glad I could help.

I may actually start developing on this code eventually. I've had a few Ideas for a game I could make.
