GP11,
Just played the level 2 demo. Frame rate suffers terribly from too many dynamic objects. In the first and second room, nearly every object is dynamic, even a piece of wood on top of a storage area, though they play no role in the game beyond looks. Using static entities for non essential objects would greatly increase speed. No one can fault you with bare levels, as you have used almost every object available, perhaps too many.
The tunnel to outdoors is well done and lighted, and the outdoor area is interesting. There are issues such as overlapping textures, a vehicle that gets pushed around by the enemy and player, tight spaces, etc, but the level shows imagination and creativity. There is nothing there that could not be fixed.
You completed a level which puts you in the upper 50% of users and for a first game attempt, it's better than most. Work on realism in your level design and frame rate by removing or changing to static those items which don't contribute to game play. I would think that you are not working a game plan, which is fine for practicing level building. When you're ready to build a game, create a detailed plan from which to work. That will help you make better transitions (like from the lab to the tunnel) and avoid those tight spaces where the player has no room to move or pass.
Best.
I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.
