This time of year again, and the A Level dudes in the UK have got their results, so what did everybody get.
I did crap in my opinion, so did a lot of my friends, but hey we learned the hard way that you can work your arse off to get things to what the teachers like and then turns out that your standard isn't as high as they say it is...And well we concluded a long time a go that our teachers were crap anyway. Though of course they're not entirely to blame.
I got:
A Level - English Language - D (I expected better, I worked really hard to get this one up, because my University requirement was a C, I studied into my subject more and did a lot of work with the Editorial Writing section, and got a 'U' for that module, which I found surprising because in the Mock I got a D and I corrected my mistakes from the mock...)
A Level - English Literature - D (Now this was a surprise, I got E's for my AS Level on this subject)
A Level - Religious Studies - C (Was annoyed by this, not to sound arrogant, but I'm really good at this subject and was getting A's B's in the mocks and my AS results was CAA, so I expected more)
So when I came out I felt disappointed and worried about my University place, because I needed a C in either English Language or Literature...However I've made my post a bit negative to build up to the fact I just checked my UCAS and well...
I got into Derby University!!! And I'll be heading off in a months time. (on the 15th September)
Just as evidence, my acceptance stuff:
So, what about everybody else in 'da hood'?
