I wouldn't have said this but I heard it on the radio the other day and it is awesome.

Band: ??
Song: Whiter Shade Of Pale

You guys have some obscure tastes; Beck, Def Leopard and Robert Palmer are the only ones I've heard of, apart from Marilyn Manson but I don't consider that music
That wasn't an insult by the way, I would hate for people to put stuff like "Umbrella - Can't even remember the girls name!" I was channel hopping and came across that song and it seriously took me about 2 minutes to realise that it wasn't a joke! Who else thinks she looks about 10 years old?
Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but it doesn't mean I have to like it

It's Leppard. But I listen to loads of stuff. For a lot of people I think it comes down to when you first got into music. For me Def Leppard were the biggest band (sort of) in the world when I was in school and Hysteria was a perfect album.

And now to chuck on some Metallica... Still feels weird that it's been over 15 years (was it 91?) since the black album.... sigh, suppose is a "classic" now...

Cheers

Linkin Park - Pretty much all of their songs but if you must 'Breaking the Habit' and 'Wth>You'

My Chemical Romance - Most of their songs too, but I really like 'Dead!', 'Welcome to the Black Parade' and 'Cancer'

I also really like listening to Final Fantasy music and other old school game music such as Chrono Trigger stuff.

Linkin Park, Lost Prophets, The Fray.

P5hng M Awy, Last Train Home, How to Save a Life.

Thing I listen most at this moment is called "Perfect Imperfection" by "Sven B", I think. If you've been around on the WIP forums, you might know what game that's from.

This is hard (some people have put awesome bands up there, Porcupine Tree, SOAD, APC...)

I'm going for these:

Band: Opeth
Song: Master's Apprentices

Band: Pink Floyd
Song: Time | Great Gig in the Sky (The woman in the 'Australian Pink Floyd' who does this has a FANTASTIC voice in this song, pretty accurate to the original as well)| Brain Damage | Shine on you Crazy Diamond | Bike Song

Band: Therion
Song: Please don't make me choose, any of them will do...so uhh 'Lemuria' or 'Uthark Runa'

Artist: Gary Moore
Song: Still got the blues (With his world record of the longest note held on a guitar - that's without the illusion of feedback )

Heh, that's an old song but still good. I like switchfoot, haven't listened to them much lately, but I loved them two years ago. They have a lot of good songs. I like rock/pop (like The Fray), but mostly christian rock.

Yeah, I'd actually have to say that, All at Once, and Look After You are all tied right now for my favorites .

My other favorite bands are Relient K, Hawk Nelson, and Stellar Kart.

Song: Fell on black days

2)
Band: The Mars Volta
Song: Viscera Eyes

3)

Chris cornell has an amazing voice, but his solo work was a big let down.

I dunno. When I was in Uni it was practically gospel for coders to love Floyd and Jarre (with a sprinkle of Vangelis). With Queen being adopted briefly when Freddy died. Personally if I've broken the back of a project I like to kick off the good times with AC/DC Big Gun to get things moving faster.
