I belive there should be a cutscene mode...using the charactors available...to make movies of cutscenes

EX:

you see this "conker" appear from behind a door
he then walks us to the prisoner and shoots him in the head
"dirty little scum," he says...

LOL...bad story but you get what I mean

EDIT- I don't know about the talking.. but I think the mouth movements would be good. and atleast text on the side

@Kronos:

You've heard what? He was only suggesting it as an idea, it's not an actual feature.

Maybe he means that request yes I think it would be cool but it isn't going to happen we don't even have musts yet like recoil, pistol whipping, scopes that automatically zoom you out while reloading, etc.

I do think this would be a great idea though, to help illustrate story-lines in games. I would love to see this in it, but, yeh, there are some things we could do with first

Of course you could always load the models into an external program, position them and set the motion for the camera and add after effects in a different program.

I think someone did a game that I remeber playing in February, like a James Bond tribute that had a good final cutscene. Can't remember what it was called though

I think that it'll be awesome to have a cutscene maker where you can move and animate characters inside a scene using armatures.

Or a easier version of the movies, just load in the models and use some standard animations, like hold a gun, open door or such things.
