I will be back at Wacken again in less that two months, so I might be starting to get hyped. Although Emperor aren't playing again this year, Ihsahn is. Plus Iron Maiden, Whitesnake, Foreigner (I know), Symphony X, Blind Guardian and Twister Sister.

While Bathory are great, that's certainly Emperor at their best. Contrary to popular opinion, my favourite emperor album (if I can qualify it as that) is their original EP. I have that with Wrath of the Tyrant and the quality is 100 times worse than In the Nightside Eclipse, but I love it that much more.
