WTF is wrong with these people? Why are these poor girls priced like cars? $19,995 (one of the cheaper models!) - "jeez I'm glad I saved that 5 bucks".

ooh, there's one for $5,995, if the US carries on down the exchange rates tables, I'll be able to afford her in a month... Shame they don't 'ship' to the UK.

There's something horribly dark about some of the descriptions on this site...

17 yrs old
Quote: "looking for a kind and caring man to look after her needs while she looks after his."

14 yrs old
Quote: "she has little direct experience with the opposite sex we have made sure she is aware of everything she needs to know to be a good wife and mother."

16 yrs old
Quote: "has had trouble with unchristian desires "

15 yrs old
Quote: "She knows God put her on Earth to serve her husband like it says in the Bible and we’ve made sure she knows exactly how to do that."
(eep!)

and weirdly... if you want to put your new purchase to work fishing;
Quote: "she can pull more than her weight as crew on any kind of boat or ship. "

(sorry, i'm looking through the site as I write this, hand over mouth in horror)

Here's some golden nuggets from the testimonial page;

Quote: "“Our 15 year old daughter Mary wasn’t very popular and did nothing but mope around the house bringing everybody down, so we decided to marry her off through your site. Now our house is a lot cheerier and we love our new swimming pool and Jaccuzi! We’ve told our youngest that when she turns 15 we’re going to marry her off too!""
"Cheers Mum!"

Quote: "My mother thought I was getting ‘too frisky” and that I had to get married right away before I lost my purity to some high school boy. "

Given the 'prices' of these girls, the site is clearly geared towards rich paedophiles.

this site is like a car crash, it's horrific and sickening, yet I can't help but stop and gawk.

EDIT: That is of course, if it's not a hoax, if it is a hoax then it's incredibly funny.

Lol, it's a hoax to protest in the differences in age laws between American states, and the fact that some states allow no sex before age x and marriage from as low as 12 years old.

So it's just a way to open people's eyes, I guess.

Different cultures and all that jazz.
It's like mormons can have several wives.. what most here find reprehensable, is just common for others.

I've always had a laugh at sites like this, because I wonder if you do get a license agreement and warrenty as it's a purchasable items.

Can't say I'm as shocked and horrored by this as some are, simply cause if you're going to purchase from that site; or you date for months before marrying .. either way you're going to loose a crapload. Hell one lass I went out with a few years back was a proper valley girl, and when she was going out with me here daddy cut her off (cause he didn't approve); so she ended up using my bank to fuel her spending addiction.
Can't say I ever planned to marry her, but good god it would've been cheaper giving a lump sum at the start!

I would like everyone to congratulate me and my 13 year old wife I got her at a bargain price of only $10,995 so she wasn't expensive. Heres to a long glorious marriage!

Lol! This is hilarious if it's a hoax, but disturbing if it's real!

Could you blame him?

Since this site has now been shown to be fake, it is pretty darn funny. I wonder how many real bids they actually get.
The thought of it NOT being fake was making me sick. I don't know what is worse, the pedofiles that would make the bids OR the parents that would give up their child.

It IS fake right?
I couldn't find anything on the site saying so.
The comments are too funny to be true. surely

Why did they make this site!

I saw an evangelical site that really pissed me off and I found out it was a hoax after sending an angry email

I saw this link on another forum, 'twas quite disturbing, I found it very strange that they think it's the 'Christian' thing to do and that they're reviving the Christian arranged marriage thing...but they're complete hypocrites because they're buying and selling people's souls, they're whores basically and immoral.

But if this isn't real, it's amusing.

Though I know what I want for Christmas now...

You can marry my daughter for £500, I don't have one, but I can make one as soon as I have bought my 17 year old wife...

Actually, on second thoughts, that's wrong because I am going to marry a chimpanzee instead because at least a chimp won't nag you in later years because you bought her off of some sleazy website rather than falling in love like most sane people.

Hmm that's the first time I've heard of a "Christian arranged marriage thing". I know of many other cultures and religions that do this. North Korea, for one, is like 99.9% atheist. Their parents arrange dates for their daughters, but she can say no (according to what the guide told me--- but I can only trust them as far as I can throw them).

Hmmm... I dunno if there ever was an arranged marriage thing with Christianity. Perhaps back when Christianity was formed, and there were still other traditions 2000 years ago, but I don't think arranged marriages would be so popular with the Christian belief.

I listed 3 women I found yesterday, and the mental patient down the street with a tumor.. Also, I've enlisted my female cat, let's hope she's willing to be married...

But seriously, if that site was real it would be breaking laws, as it uses terms such as purchasing and selling humans, which can't be done in America, I believe that would fall under slavery. Plus if that was done, child endangerment services would probably take them away from their parents, and said business would be closed down. From my understanding of the law anyways.

Personally, I find their site very sexist as well, I was looking through and I just want to find a bloke I want to marry, but no, it's Marry our DAUGHTER...freaking sexist pigs, like hello it's the 21st century.

Quote: "I dunno if there ever was an arranged marriage thing with Christianity. Perhaps back when Christianity was formed, and there were still other traditions 2000 years ago, but I don't think arranged marriages would be so popular with the Christian belief."

I just read that was the reason somewhere, I would think it is that tradition from Isreali society during the time of Christ and not the ceremonies Christians practice today...Besides that site is against Christianity despite claiming to be decent Christians, so it's funny, "We're Christians but we like to sell souls and make our daughters whores"...

Search on Google for "Buy a wife". You will come across lots of Russian/Ukraine run sites, selling women to the western world.

A relative of mine got himself a russian bride, the specifics of which I do not know, (like if he found the service online or in a catalog or what).

We thought he was crazy, but it seems to be working out for them. They met over a year or two ago and are still together

I just pressed the 'propose' button. Let me read you their dos and don'ts. These prove it's a hoax.

DOs:

Be romantic! This is a marriage proposal, not a business transaction
Explain why you have chosen this particular daughter to marry out of all the others
Detail what you are looking for in a wife – what you expect out of a life-partner, the qualities that are important to you.
Describe what kind of life you would be able to provide for a wife

DON’Ts:

Do not be sexual or sexually explicit in any way.
Do not describe the Daughter’s body other than to say things like “pretty” or “beautiful smile.”
Do not specify contact info – we will provide your form to your prospective bride’s family and it is up to them to contact you either through us or directly. It is fine to write in general terms such as “northeast” or “southwest.”
Do not specify your age, except in a range such as “20s, 30s, 40s, 50s” etc.
Do not specify your income save as above in terms of what you would be able to provide
Do not include or attach a photo (you can’t anyway) – the Daughter may ask you for a photo or not, at her discretion.
Don’t include your full name.
Do not propose to multiple Daughters or all your proposals will be rejected.

Our home is our world, our life, home is our world...
