no! The 'texture backdrop' command is so useful, especially for, you guessed it: a textured backdrop! and of course for those 3-d/2-d 'endless space' sims'. Why did they get rid of it?. Oh well; Since they removed that, does anyone know if the 'color backdrop', 'draw to front', and 'draw to back' commands still work? If any DBPro users can test that then please reply. Thanks.

Well, I think u should try to use a Box/Sphere to the sky. Even Unreal, Half-Life uses clearly boxes for it. So it wont be so big damage.

Those three commands work fine.

You should use a skybox/sphere and then turn your backdrop off for a significant speed boost.
