...Uh....Hello. This is my first time on this forum..... um... I need help. I want to make a sprite game similar to Metroid. How do I make a sprite character and link it into DARKBasic classic? I appreciate for any replys except critism or insults.

First of all you need to draw the character in your favorite drawing program. Then save the image in the folder that you have made for your project.
Then load it with 'load image'. You can then use 'sprite'. If you don't know what or how these work, type them in to DB and put your mouse cursor over it, and press F1.

Okay...... how do I make a folder for content on DB and save images to that folder?

uhm, right click, move over "new" and left click on "folder" ?

for images, goto file, save, and navigate to your folder in paint?
